本课教学设计以实施教育为指导思想，巧妙设计教学环节，层层深入，活跃课堂气氛，激发学生学习兴趣和学习的积极性。

(1)通过本节课的学习，学生能掌握chore等8个词汇以及词组的运用。
(2)能让学生学会用所学词汇和句型委婉地向他人表示求或要求许可。
(3)通过师生对话,生生对话等一系列活动,提高学生实际运用英语的能力。
(4)能体会合作学习所带来的快乐。
（二）过程与方法：
本单元采用让学生掌握在听力前进行预测或浏览关键词的策略；对单词的直拼策略；学会与同学之间的交际策略及引导学生总结、归纳所学知识，形成有效的学习策略。
4.记忆大比拼。利用多媒体快速闪现家务活新词汇，学生快速用英语说出短语。

设计意图：初中学生喜欢争强好胜，利用抢答的形式，激发学生的斗志，活跃课堂气氛。同时。语言的掌握它需要一个学习、理解和熟练运用的过程，即内化的过程，以上就是为更多的语言输出做准备。
设计意图:此活动让学生在每一组里进行one by one的操练活动，激发了学生的兴趣而且更进一步熟悉运用目标语言。
Task 2：家务活大调查:
以四人一组为单位,对本组同学在家进行的家务活的频率进行问答;
根据回答做记录并填好表格;
挑选几位同学向全班汇报记录的情况，做的好的组给予奖励。

（2）本节课任务型课程的设计自始至终体现任务的要求与特点，尤其要确保任务的设计与完成是从简单重复逐步过渡到真实或接近真实。基于这一要求与特点，通过完成这一系列任务，既使学生学会了如何表达日常家务，提出请求或申请许可；又渗透了对学生的教育：通过完成任务培养学生热爱劳动的美德。
（3）通过本堂课的教学，要让大部分学生学会掌握各种家务活的英语说法，学会用英语礼貌地向别人提出请求及其回答。因此在教学过程中设计了一些很受学生欢迎的教学环节和活动：视频导入，游戏，pair work, group work及chain drill，还有各环节之间的自然过渡，通过这些符合学生心理特征及激发学生兴趣的教学活动，达成让学生脱口而出地使用本节课的目标语言的目的。
5.教学过程设计
一、Preparation（创设情景，兴趣导入）
1.课前热身：观看视频教唱英语歌曲
设计意图：为了给学生营造一种轻松愉快的学习氛围，尽快融入到所教知识中去，也可以为接下来的家务活的教学作铺垫。
2.先用图片呈现”chore”.为下面的教学家务活的词汇做铺垫。

3.Listening 1b
（1）引导学生观察本单元主题图T: Will Peter take out the rubbish?学生作答后，将他们的注意力引向1b表格，利用问题Who will do these chores,Peter or his mother?引入听力。（核对答案）
（2）再听一遍，跟读对话，再根据听力内容填空练习。（核对答案）
（1）我运用现代化教学手段，把课文再现给学生，在听、看、问、答的过程中，逐渐培养学生的语言运用能力，使学生易于接受所学知识。并运用很多图片对学生进行反复的操练，力图充分发挥学生的积极性和主体作用，给予学生充分运用语言的空间和时间，使学生主动参与到求知的行列中来。课前讨论为任务一的完成做了铺垫。接着，通过听，了解句型，并初步掌握如何表达谈论家务，提出请求及回答。最后，又通过两个Task任务进一步巩固本单元所学的句型，并通过迁移进行仿写，最后以自主写作为最终目标。这样，学生既学会了如何描述日常家务或活动，又可以学会发散思维，以扩展知识。同时，学生的口头及书面表达能力也可随之提高。
设计意图:通过听和说的训练，让学生感受纯正发音并能模仿语音语调，提高学生的听力水平，Pair work反复操练进行对话表演并引导学生探究归纳目标语言。
三、Production(合作探究，展现提升)

学生情况分析：
八年级的学生在之前已学过Can you do…? Can I do…?句型，还掌握了一定的动词短语如do some washing, clean the floor…等，而且本单元话题又贴近他们的生活，应该会有话可讲，有话要讲。
