一、养儿防老—驳论前几天看电视，央视的法制频道《道德观察》讲述了一个故事：《陌生的亲人》，讲述的是一个87岁高龄的老人在自己亲生儿子楼下的垃圾桶里捡垃圾吃，看的我是气愤不已。
想想谁会在酒足饭饱后还贪恋那又脏又臭的垃圾啊，老人真是饿极了，才在垃圾桶里捡垃圾吃的。
都说养儿防老，养儿真的防得了老吗？87岁老人竟在儿子楼下吃垃圾。
真让我一个90后的学生看到了替老人感到寒心，更对老人儿子对老人的不闻不问感到痛心疾首。
在中国传统文化中，养儿防老的思想可谓是根深蒂固的。
甚至在一些偏远的山村地区，村民们把生儿子看做是一种荣耀。
在他们看来，生的男孩子越多越好，那样在他们老后，生活就会有保障，赡养问题就会有着落。
依他们看来，女孩子都是赔钱货，生10个女孩都抵不过生1个男孩.由此看来，许多农村地区的夫妇们，在生了N多个女孩后，依然愿意拼尽所有，不惜花费巨额罚金，坚持生下男孩防老，这种超生做法对于我们而言也丝毫不觉得奇怪了。
然而，在这里，我想为广大的女性同胞申述一句：“都说养儿防老，养儿真的能防老吗？”我不认为养儿真的能防老，首先；养儿防老是传统的思想观念，在现代人看来已经过时，更别提以我们90后为代表的年轻人对养儿防老思想观念的反感。
养儿防老是N个世纪前的观念了，随着保险体制的完善，年轻的时候多存点钱，老了一样有保障，并不一定要靠儿子来养老。
再说，儿子工作时压力本身已经是够大了，倘若再让他挑上赡养年老双亲的重任，儿子无疑会吃不消；儿子成家后需要支撑自己的小家庭，本身亦相当吃力，还得赡养双亲，无形中增加了经济负担。
其次，传统观念“养儿防老”极具功利性。
第一，儿子生多了是好事这一思想已深深驻扎在他们的内心。
只要能生出儿子，超生又怎样！在他们看来，能生儿子是一件极其荣耀的事，儿子是传宗接代、光宗耀祖的纽带，更是老有所依的保障。
第二，在他们眼中，儿子结婚成家后还是自家人，而且还会给家里增添新的成员，没有白养：生女儿就大不相同了，熟话说“嫁出去的女儿泼出去的水”，出嫁后就是别人家的了，白养那么大了。

William Carlos Williams (1883 - 1963)
Born in Rutherford, New Jersey, near the city of Paterson, William Carlos Williams studied medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. There he became friends with Ezra Pound and Hilda Doolittle (later known as H. D.) and started to think of his medical career as a means of supporting himself while he composed poetry, even as he interned in New York City and pursued postgraduate studies in Germany. Williams made Rutherford his lifelong home and practiced medicine until he retired, writing at night and spending weekends in New York City with other writers and artists.
Structure
The poem has a distinct pattern, with alternating lines of two and one stressed syllables. The work seems to attempt to reach a specific combination of stresses, but purposely misses each time. In the table below, the desired combination would be represented as uMuS/Mu. This relates to Williams' basic doctrine that by examining an object in all of its immediacy, we can come into contact with something universal. There is a universal order to be found in the poem, but the individual lines never reach it. Rather, the particularity of each line gestures toward the underlying universal pattern.
