Unit 8 Where Are They From?
本节课的教学设计分为四大部分：
1．学生展示环节：根据课前设定的学习任务和目标（每小组自学一个国家的相关知识），分小组展示自学成果。
2．新授内容环节：以英国、日本和澳大利亚的人民、风俗、地理等文化为重点，大量扩充书本容量，介绍各国风情特色，引导学生认知世界文化的多元化。
3．练习操作环节：以世界地图为突破口，引导学生找出以上各国的地理方位，了解掌握各国的显著特征如：国歌、国旗等。
4．检测反馈环节：通过判断题，检查学生对所学知识的掌握，同时作了适当的知识扩充。
本节课基本完成了教学设想，学生的自主学习兴趣很高，从小组展示环节可以看出学生的确在课前作了大量的学习和充分的准备，小组间的协作互助体现得非常好，展示的成果质量较高。
学生在课堂上保持了学习的积极性，乐于去接受不同的文化，达到了预期的学习目标。
比较遗憾的是时间上的把握不是特别理想，最后的反馈环节没有充分展开。
