这是一个学生们很感兴趣并深深喜爱的人物形象。
同时，西游记又是中国传统文化著作四大名著之一，完全可以利用课前让学生们通过网络查找西游记以及四大名著的作者、创作背景、人物形象、故事主线及作品评价等。
另外，还鼓励孩子们去外文网站“维基百科”搜寻四大名著的准确的英文翻译，以及英文的简介。
去了解外国人眼中的四大名著，以及外国人对我们中国著作的理解及评价。
通过搜索，了解到课文中所讲的1979年英语小学生第一次接触到的英文版的《Monkey》，实则是日本人拍的。
看了一些片段之后，感觉我们国家1986年版的《西游记》才是真正的经典之作。
才真正能够还原与表达原著的故事及精神层面的高度。
因此，学生们也深有感触，我们自己民族的精华，也只有我们自己才能更好的理解、传承与发扬光大。
