本节课是一节太空科普阅读课。本节课教学思路清晰，重难点突出，环环相扣，过渡自然，形式多样，学生能够主动参与到课堂中来。
本节课最大的亮点有以下几方面：一是运用现代信息化手段进行教学。学生利用手机终端进行自主学习，在课堂上利用云课堂平台的大数据能够及时地了解学生的学习情况，有助于老师更有针对性地进行教学。二是思维导图的设计巧妙。思维导图既总结了行星、恒星、太阳系、银河系和宇宙之间的关系，也让学生明白他们之间的大小和包含关系。三是中国航天事业的介绍，PPT设计巧妙，寓意深刻，非常形象地展现我国“神舟号”的发展历程，同时极大地激发了学生的民族自豪感。
通过学习本课，学生了解了太空的基本知识和人类在太空探索中所取得的成就。同时也唤起了学生对天文知识的兴趣和对未来事物的探索精神。本节课运用PPT，视频，云课堂平台等教学辅助手段，以科学世界探索为主线，以太空视频引入，过渡到文章的快速阅读，细节阅读获取信息，利用云课堂平台的大数据及时了解学生的作答情况；通过合作学习完成思维导图，通过小组讨论发表看法，最后以时间为线介绍中国太空探索的主要成就，激发学生的民族自豪感。当然，本节课也有可以改善的地方。如学生在小组讨论时，讨论的内容不够充分，气氛不够热烈，老师可以走近学生加以引导，并且鼓励学生大胆开口表达，以提高学生的综合能力。
