The basic idea of the design
The design of this lesson is based on the belief that English teaching
should involves the students in autonomical ,cooperative and
inquiry-based learning while at the same time pay special attention to
developing the students’ comprehensive language competence.

（一）Teaching Content Analysis
This article describes Zhalong Nature Reserve. It is one of the world’s
most important wetlands. But due to human destruction of wetlands and
the environment led to the brink of endangering its plight, More and more
birds are in danger because they do not have enough living space.., We
hope more and more people want to protect these endangered birds, let’s
make them actively take action to protect wildlife.
（二）Status and function
This lesson is a reading passage. It plays a very important role in the
English teaching of this unit. By studying this lesson, Ss can improve
their reading ability. The Ss should receive some moral education. At the
same time, we should get the Ss to learn some words and some
expressions about protecting wild animals.

students to retell the paragraphs

以“牛津英语”８Ａ Ｕｎｉｔ ４“Ｗｉｌｄ Ａｎｉｍａｌｓ”（Ｒｅａｄｉｎｇ１）课堂教学为例

一、问题的提出 任务型语言教学（Ｔａｓｋ—Ｂａｓｅｄ Ｌａｎｇｕａｇｅ Ｔｅａｃｈｉｎｇ）引进国
内以来．围绕着任务的定义、内容、设计与实施以及任务的实
践与评价出版了大量的文献。《全日制义务教育普通高级中学 英语课程标准（实验稿）》（教育部，２００１，以下简称“课标”）明
确倡导任务型语言教学途径。在教学中应该如何实施任务型
教学途径呢？以下我将以译林版《牛津初中英语｝８Ａ Ｕｎｉｔ４
“Ｗｉｌｄ Ａｎｉｍａｌｓ”（Ｒｅａｄｉｎｇ １）教学设计为例．阐述如何在阅读课 教学中设施“任务型教学”并基于案例设计进行分析与反思。
二、教学案例的设计与分析 １．教材分析
本单元的中心话题是“野生动物”，要求学生阅读一篇介
绍大熊猫幼崽的早期生活的文章。文章用第一人称的口吻描
述作者观察到的大熊猫幼崽的早期生活，谈论保护大熊猫的 大致措施，鼓励学生运用本单元的知识开始思考如何保护野
生动物。 ２．教学目标设计。
１）基本知识目标：学习和掌握阅读部分所涉及的新单词
和词组、习惯用语和固定搭配。２）能力智力目标：进一步训练 自我阅读能力，要求速读后领会主要句子的意思。３）德育情感
目标：明白野生动物是人类的朋友。
３．教学重点与难点
１）有关重要词汇、短语；２）听读理解能力、获取具体信息 的能力；３）快速阅读的能力、阅读对写作的迁移能力。
４．教学方法和教学工具

分析 本单元的主要话题为“TV shows”，具体涉及电视节目，时尚流行，以及学生围绕电视节目和时尚饰品谈论不同程度的喜好，并发表见解。语言技能和语言知识几乎都围绕“发表见解”这一中心话题设计的。 Section A从呈现电视节目开始，通过视、听等形式输入信息，并引出本单元主要句型，接着从对节目的看法过渡到对节目中人物的看法。Section B主要是以阅读和写作为主，通过学生感兴趣的有关Mickey Mouse动画片的谈论来培养学生良好阅读习惯和提高学生阅读能力。
