教学目标
1．巩固词组 science book，space story，fairy tale，能运用“What books/kind of books do you like？”询问他人对某类书的爱好，并能正确作答。
2．能运用“A is more …than B”谈论F部分Let's Have Fun 中的图片。
3．能运用E部分问题提示和写作模块描述个人爱好。
4．培养热爱阅读的情感，养成良好的阅读习惯。

一、热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)
1．Greetings.
2．Greeting game.
课件出示单词或词组：science books，fairy tales，storybooks，interesting，longer等，并用笑脸盖上图片，让学生猜测。 二、新课呈现(Presentation)
(一)学习E部分Let's Write
1．课件出示E部分四位小朋友的表达。
2．自由朗读四句话。
3．向同桌介绍四位小朋友的喜好，如：Peter likes science books.
Anne/Lingling…likes…(注意：主语是第三人称单数，like要变成likes)
4．单独出示Peter的图片，问：What kind of books does Peter like？指名学生回答，并正确书写在书上。同样方法学习2、3、4三个问题。
5．同桌互问互答，巩固对句型的掌握。
(二)学习F部分Let's Have Fun
1．用写有比较级生词的卡片，让几名学生随机抽取并读出来，结合生活中的人或物，用所抽单词造句。这一环节旨在让学生体会玩中学，学中玩，提高英语学习的兴趣，为学生口头作文打下基础。
2．出示F部分挂图。
T：Dino is going to the lake. Here are three ways.Help him to find
a safe way.
3．学生仔细观察图画，教师提问：Which is more dangerous/interesting，…or…？
4．学生分别口头表达。
5．学生独立地在课本上作答。
6．集体展示作业，指导学生把句子写完整、正确。

单元教材分析 单元学情分析
本课时的教学重难点在于让学生学会用英语的比较级，并能熟练的将其运用于实际生活中，询问身边的人或者事物的年龄、身高、重量以及长度并用比较级的句型来回答。 本课时的主要语言项目是用英语表述自己的身高和体重，通过A部分五个英语词汇的掌握，把新授词汇融入到新句型当中。教材在Let's do部分设计了三位学生的身高比较，让学生通过做动作或实际比较可以很快理解并熟练掌握这些相关内容，达到能实际运用的目的。 六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降，两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好后进生的转化工作。教师应该面向全体学生，以学生的发展为宗旨，始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位，注意分层教学，引导学生端正学习态度，掌握良好的学习方法，培养学生良好的学习习惯。
