Unit 8 Our dreams 单元解读一、单元内容体现的课标理念本单元在英语核心素养的育人价值下进行，围绕单元主题“人与社会”范畴，并基于“我的职业理想”话题展开教学。
1.语言能力：跟读音频，关注语音的连读，模仿跟读，关注语音语调；基于职业理想的对话式故事学习，引导学生关注want to do和want to be中的表达对将来的期许的含义及其用法。
通过Grammar time的学习，掌握want to be和want to do的基本用法。
在进行语法操练时将控制性训练和非控制性训练相结合，引导学生学以致用。
2.文化意识：能通过学习Story time，引导学生要为了实现自己的梦想而不懈努力。
同时引导学生了解职业及其所承担的责任。
有关职业理想的讨论贯穿了单元的整体，教师需要在教学过程中，积极引导学生树立正确的职业观：职业无贵贱，但想要达成自己的职业理想是需要学生脚踏实地，努力奋斗的。
3.思维品质：基于Story time的学习，学生已经初步明确，首先要有自己的理想，没有理想的人是缺乏内驱力的，也就难以有所成就。
同时，要逐步推进自己实现理想，就需要不断奋斗努力。
在有关给予故事主要人物的建议中，学生的发散和联想性思维可以得到极大的锻炼，有助于培养和提升其思维品质。
同时，在Grammar time的学习中，教师也尊重学生主体地位，鼓励学生通过观察发现，归纳总结和小组合作探究的方式对目标句型进行结构梳理，有助于进一步发展其思维能力，提升思维品质。
4.学习能力：本单元的每堂课都尊重了学生的学习主体地位，并通过层层递进的教学活动，引导学生独立思考，合作探究。
通过观察来归纳总结want to be和want to do的句型结构，通过举例辨析来挖掘两者间的区别。
