Nearly third of children globally are couch potatoes
American children aren't the only couch potatoes with nearly one third of children globally spending three hours
a day or more watching TV or on computers，according to a study of over 70,000 teens in 34 nations.
From Argentina to Zambia，Regina Guthold of the World Health Organization in Geneva and her colleagues found most children aren't getting enough exercise and
it made no difference if they lived in a rich or a poor country.
“With regards to physical activity levels，we did not find much of a difference
between poor and rich countries，”Guthold said.
“Growing up in a poor country does not necessarily mean that kids get more
physical activity.”They study looked at 72,845 schoolchildren aged 13 to 15 from North and South America，Asia，Europe，and the Middle East.The

Grammar : Conditionals Revision
1．条件句有两类，一类是真实条件句，一类是虚拟条件句。
2．如果假设的情况是有可能发生的，就是真实条件句（Zero conditional）。真实条件句中的谓语用陈述语气。
Eg。If it doesn’t rain tomorrow, we will go to the par.
如果明天不下雨,我们就去公园.
3.如果假设的情况是过去或现在都不存在的,或将来不大可能发生的,则是虚假条件句,共有三种情况.
Eg. If he had seen you yesterday, he would have asked you about it.
如果他昨天见到你,他会问你这件事的.(事实上他昨天没有见到你,因此也未能问你这件事.)
4.在含有虚拟条件句的复合句中,主句和从句的谓语都要用虚拟语气.虚拟条件从句和主句的动词形式列表如下:

5.虚拟条件句的用法
1) 表示与现在事实相反的假设和结果(1st conditional)
Eg. If I were you,I should/could/would/might tell him the truth.

混合条件句中的虚拟语气
混合条件句主句是指条件句中含有不同的条件结构，谓语动词所表示的动作和条件从句谓语动词所表示的动作并不是同时发生,如一个与过去事实相反，另一个与现在事实相反。在这种条件句中，
动词的形式要根据具体情况进行调整。
非真空条件从句 主句
If it had rained last night, it would be very cold today.
If I had taken your advice, I would have no trouble with the work now.
If I were you, I would have gone to see the film last night.
If he had told me about it, I would known what to do now
If you had followed the doctor’s advice (then), you would be all right now.
如果你那时听了医生的话,你现在就好了.
(主句与从句发生的时间不同,应按照主句与从句各自的时间做调整.)
If you had watered them more, the crops would be growing still better.
