教材分析 The teaching materials come from Hebei Education Press, Grade 9, Lesson 1: What’s wrong,
Danny? The topic of this unit is about staying healthy. Students care about the topic because it is
close to everyone. This lesson mainly talks about the story that Danny’s stomach hurts and to see a
doctor. It also tells us an old saying: Don’t eat too much, keep healthy.

教材分析 本单元主要围绕”Stay Healthy”展开教学活动，学习情态动词should, need的基本用法。在学习”seeing a doctor”的基础上学会使用常见的就医用语，常见的疾病以及病情描述。学习的过程中会穿插情态动词should, need，用这些表示建议的情态动词能帮助学生养成良好的健康习惯。
学情分析 初三的学生具备了一定的听说能力和思考能力，就医这个话题在以前的学习中接触过，并且在日常生活中很常见，属于学生熟悉并感兴趣的话题。有了一定的语言积累和实际经验，本单元的讲授应该能激发起学生想说的欲望，并使他们有话说。学生平时对情态动词的注意不够，有的情态动词用法比较多，尤其是 need，因为其作为实义动词和情态动词的两个身份，学生普遍感到难以区分。在学习中会在情景教学中多多强调该词的使用，多举实例帮助学生掌握。

1. Analysis of the Students The students of Grade 9 have
mastered certain vocabularies，expressions and structures.
They also have the abilities of self-teaching and working in
groups. Most of them are willing to express their opinions in
English. 2. Analysis of Teaching Content Lesson 1 is the first
lesson in Unit 1, Book 5.This unit focus on the subject staying
healthy. Students cares about the subject because it is close
to everyone. Lesson 1 mainly talks about the story that Danny’s
