中国高校自主招生认可的获奖类型
自主招生，对于高中生来说，是拿到985、211名校加分的重要机会。各高校的加分政策基本一致，通常分为30分、20分、5分三个层次，也有个别优秀考生能够突破30分，上限可加到60分。如果学生在高中阶段，符合以下任一条件者，就有机会通过名牌大学自主招生；如果多项符合，则获得“高考加分”的机会更大。
一、五大类（数理化生信）奥林匹克学科竞赛
各校基本上对申请学生在高中阶段参加五类学科竞赛的获奖要求做了明确的设定，具体门槛有高有低。其中信息学和生物学竞赛一般限报专业，数学和物理竞赛类的考生一般可供选择的范围广泛。
二、在全国性科技创新竞赛或活动中获奖
普遍认可的有：
1．全国青少年科技创新大赛(含全国青少年生物和环境科学实践活动)；
2．“明天小小科学家”奖励活动；
3．全国中小学电脑制作活动。
三、具有公信力的国际青少年科学竞赛或活动
普遍认可的有：
1．国际科学与工程大奖赛；
2．国际环境科研项目奥林匹克竞赛。
四、全国性作文竞赛
普遍认可的有（前2个的认可度最高）：
1．全国新概念作文大赛(《萌芽》杂志社主办）；
2．全国中小学创新作文大赛；
3．中华“圣陶杯”中学生作文大赛(《中学语文教学》杂志社主办)；
4．全国“语文报杯”中学生作文大赛(《语文报》报社主办)。
五、全国性英语大赛
普遍认可的有：
1．全国中学生创新英语作文大赛(《高校招生》杂志社主办)；
2．全国中学生英语能力竞赛(国家基础教育实验中心外语教育研究中心主办)。
★★作文类和英语类的考生，一般是师范类和文史类较强的高校招生较多，理工类高校招生的文科生人数较低。
六、优秀的在校成绩
部分名校照顾“偏才”，可凭高中阶段在校的期末期中考试单科成绩申请。（例如：哈工大、西安交大）
