一. 食品安全 Food Safety1、食品安全事件不断发生所以近年来越来越受到关注；2、它造成巨大的危害；3、我们该如何做？危害：1、浪费资源；2、对诚信经营是打击，产生道德危机；3、严重危害群众的健康和生命。

对策：1、法律；2、识别；3、加强监管。

Nowadays, unsafe foods can be found, now and then, in the market, which has aroused a lot of public attention. It is reported that these foodstuff ranges from substandard milk powder, tainted/dyed steamed buns to pork with lean meat powder. Fake commodities are harmful in many ways. To begin with, it is a waste of resource, especially in our country. Second, it has bad effect on the reputation of the real manufacturers and brings about moral Crisis. Above all, all that matters is food. People’s health and lives are severely threatened if someone buys some unsafe foodstuff.Measures should be taken to deal with the problem. On the one hand , strict laws should be passed to punish the producers and the sellers. On the other hand, consumers should be told to distinguish the genuine goods from the false ones. At the same time, the government should strengthen the supervision of all aspects of food. I firmly believe this problem will be solvedin the near future.二、全球淡水短缺 Global Shortage of Fresh Wate1、人们以为淡水是取之不尽的 (提示：雨水、河水、井水......) ；2、实际上淡水是非常紧缺的 (提示：人口增加，工业用水增加，污染......)；3、我们应该怎么办？原因：1、人口增加；2、工业用水增加；3、污染......。

对策：1、法律；2、教育；3、科技。

It is widely thought and accepted that the world’s supply of fresh water will never be run out of (used up) because it comes from such a variety of sources as rain ,river, well. Such an opinion leads to a shocking waste of water.However (As a matter of fact), the earth is short of fresh water. There are many causes for the shortage of it. First, the word’s population is growing rapidly. Second, The demand for water is rising. What’s more, our surroundings has suffered serious pollution. All of the reasons mentioned result in the urgent need of fresh water, especially in some big cities.Therefore, measures should be taken to deal with the problem. To begin with, strict laws should be passed to control any waste of water. Second, the sense of saving water should be educated among people. Above all, scientists must work even harder to purify the sea waterand polluted water.三．Drunken Driving 醉酒驾车1、醉酒驾车增多的原因；2、醉酒驾车的危害；3、如何减少醉酒驾车？Drunken Driving Nobody could have failed to notice the fact that drunken driving has been a grave problem with which we are confronted. Generally speaking, there are several reasons accounting for /behind this phenomenon. Firstly, recent decades have witnessed the rapid development of people’s living standards. As a result, cars gained ever-increasing popularity and have found their way into our everyday life. Secondly, people participate in more activities or banquets than ever before, where they will drink liquor/strong wine. Then, they may get drunk but continue to drive.Drunken driving is bound to generate severe consequence if we keep turning a blind eye to it. First and foremost, this behavior will directly threaten the safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians/goers, resulting in traffic accidents, injuries and even deaths. Besides, treating the injured and repairing broken cars mean a grievous waste of money, time and resources. Last but not least, this irresponsible driving will make the road a nightmare, and thus, it will causes serious losses of faith in governments and the society.In view of the seriousness of this problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that the supervisory role of laws and regulations should be strengthened to punish those performing drunken driving. Secondly, the public, especially drivers, should enhance their awareness of public safety. With stringent laws and alert public, it will only a matter of time for drunken driving to become things of past. .四.Living on or out of the Campus?1. 一些大学生认为住在校外好。

Nowadays an increasing number of college students rent houses out of the campus. Should this phenomenon be banned or encouraged?There are mainly two different opinions. Some prefer living on campus. They maintain that college students are immature and therefore need be disciplined to some extent. In addition, collective life will benefit their physical and mental health, which is their parents' expectation towards college. On the contrary, others hold that living on campus will wipe out individuality and restrict student's freedom. In addition, sometimes the living conditions and disheson campus are unsatisfactory.In my opinion, I like to live out of the campus. For one thing, as the adults, we are capable of taking care of ourselves and should be on our own to some degree. Besides, there is much room for us to cultivate a variety of hobbies free frominterference. For another, universities are not kindergartens where everyone should be obedient. This kind of independent life will protect our privacy and help our individual development, which will in turn make college life more diversified and colorful. So why not have a change and live out of the campus?五、Starting Career in a Big City or a Small Town1. 很多的大学生毕业后留在大城市工作；2. 也有人选择到小城镇开始自己的职业生涯；3. 结合自己的实际情况谈谈自己的想法。
