英语早读课的充分利用 在多年的教学实践中,笔者深深的感觉到利用好英语早读课对学生起到事半功倍的作用.然而,许多学生不知道早读课做什么,或者就对着单词表念一个早读课,结果收效甚微.于是就抱怨单词难记,英语难学.一部分学生就放弃英语,考试就望天收.还有一部分学生苦苦的坚持着,但是英语成绩总不理想,学习也没有一点乐趣.所以教师教会学生利用好英语早读课是帮助学生提高英语的一个突破口. 一.提醒学生一堂早读课完成的任务.许多学生不知道早读课要做什么事.笔者经常观察到一些学生一到早读课就对着单词表背单词,好像高中英语学习就是念单词.结果还是抱怨单词记不住.其实,掌握一定的词汇量是很重要,但是英语学习不仅是记单词,还要进行语法学习,语篇的理解,语感的获得,语言的运用等等.那么英语早读课做什么呢?在英语早读课上,学生们可以记单词,念课文,念语法,记典型的句型,背英语范文,复习巩固做过的错题目,然后归纳总结,联系起它知识点,遇到疑难点,查字典,翻参考书,请教老师和学生等等.另外,英语学习是一项乐趣的事情,不要勉强自己,如果觉得没有什么可念了,没有什么可记了,也可以拿一些习题来做做.每堂早读课之前,可以提示学生要完成哪些任务.一般这些任务来自于对新授课的复习与巩固.例如,新授课内容是语法,那么早读课上肯定要求学生对这一语法知识及做过的习题的复习与巩固,以达到及时复习.同时在不同时期要求学生对同一知识反复复习.这样才能符合记忆的规律,帮助学生克服遗忘.除此以外,要鼓励学生完成新授课的任务后,根据自己的情况对旧知识不时的复习,以达到温故而知新. 二.传授英语早读课的学习方法. (一)词汇的记忆.英语早读课上,学生们有许多事情要做.但掌握一些学习的方法是学好英语的关键.高中阶段,学生必须掌握一定量的词汇,所以学生早读课上肯定要记单词,但是记单词的方法也是多种多样的.对于课本里每一个单元学习后的词汇,大家可以对着单词表念,掌握每个单词的读法以及对单词的基本的了解,因为英语词汇的拼写与读音有很大的联系.然后再回到课文,大声念课文,这样才能读准课文,读出语感,读出文章的意思.因为书读百遍,其意自现.从而达到对词汇的理解与掌握.然后找些考察词汇的题目做一做,不记得词汇的意思,不明白词汇的用法,可以查查字典,翻翻笔记和参考书,以达到对词汇的运用.最后再回到单词表里念念想想,检测一下自己能记住多少个单词.这样做对有些单词就不知不觉就记住了,而且做的过程学生是主动去学习,所以就不那么枯燥乏味了,而且记忆也深刻得多. (二)语法的学习.高中阶段学生要掌握必要的语法,才能应付各种大小型的测试.但是语法的掌握不纯粹靠死记硬背.但首先学生在早读课上可以对某一项语法知识点以及例句要大声的念.因为只有大声的念才能让眼,耳,心,嘴都利用起来,以达到全身心的投入到所要学的内容上,精力才能集中起来.常有些学生喜欢早读课上默读.默读常在自己感兴趣的内容上,人们才能投入进去.而对于语法来说,中国学生大部分都感到乏味.所以掌握这些英语语法,学生必须需要一定的意志和一些可行的方法.早读课是记忆的最佳时间,大声念是记忆的必要的方法之一.大声念完之后,学生对于这项语法有个总体的掌握.但是对于一些细节的东西,难记的部分仍然不太清楚,这时候不要急,要有耐心,但要换种方法,以使自己仍然精力集中.学生可以找一些相应的习题来做,如果发现某一题与某一项知识

你英语基础问题。 发音准确度 这方面的重要程度远远没有流利度那么高,但练习要花费相当的苦工。如果仅仅只是为了应付工作,建议不要花费太多时间在发音上面,因为中国人的发音哪怕再烂其实外国人还是能理解的。外企HR似乎更加看重流利程度一点。大部分在外企工作的中国人发音简直是弱爆,但是丝毫不影响工作沟通。所以英语基础不好的人,拼命去练发音,无异于舍本逐末。 如果你一定要知道发音怎么练习,可以简单说一两点。 中国人被拼音误导很深,认为和拼音长得差不多就是和拼音一样的发音,结果才导致了浓浓的中国风发音。不要把音标当拼音。你把所有的长元音全部拆开成两个元音来发音,比如like 的i(ai), 坚决不要发成中文的"爱“,要先发a 后发i, 中间过渡平滑,听起来像"拉一可”。经常有人说这个单词明明按照音标读了,但是怎么读都有一股浓浓的中国风,就是找不出原因,原因就在这里。 如果你对这些区别只是停留在了解的阶段,那是帮助不了你改善发音的,必须要重复练习(一个发音反复练习几百次就有效了)。

让英语早读课绽放精彩 发表时间:2012-06-05T09:58:34.500Z 来源:《中小学教育》2012年7月总第105期供稿作者:徐冬琴甘宏[导读] 英语教学要重视朗读,要让学生充分地读,在读中培养语感,在读中受到情感的熏陶徐冬琴甘宏江苏省高邮市天山镇初级中学225600 早读课是英语学习的一个重要阵地,是课堂必不可少的延续与补充,是培养学生养成良好读书习惯的绝佳时间,也是决定学生英语成绩好坏的关键环节。合理利用早读课,既可以提高自己的朗读水平,又可以诵记那些英语短文。读得多了,背得多了,自然就形成了英语语感。语感一旦形成,在以后的学习中,好些句子就会脱口而出。比如有一道填空题,你甚至不知道这个句子的具体意义,却能说出该填 什么词,这就是你的语感。可是,究竟怎样更好地利用早读课,上早读课也绽放精彩,却一直困扰着我们英语老师。 在经历长期的摸索以后,我发现只要“抓住早读课的点滴时间,让每个学生都养成良好的阅读习惯”,教师多花点心思,早读课也可以绽放精彩! 一、更新观念,明确任务 英语教学要重视朗读,要让学生充分地读,在读中培养语感,在读中受到情感的熏陶。所以,先要改变早读课在学生心目中的印象,不要以为早读课只是张嘴读一读就行了,应该是用心朗读的。而朗读就是把躺着的书面文字,用声音立起来,出口时的声音负载着思想感情;同时,朗读又是一个眼、脑、口、耳协同活动的过程,不能有口无心地“念着经”。 “一日之计在于晨”,一天当中,人在早上的学习效率是相当高的,一定要充分利用好这一黄金时段,千万不可放任自由。早读课时,倘若没有一个明确的目标,东一榔头西一棒,信手翻开,兴趣所至,吼上几声,眼到口到而心未到,这种没有用心、用情的读只能是事倍功半,还容易导致学生做事心不在焉,缺乏目的性。因此,每次的早读课必须有明确的任务,让学生明白要读什么、背什么、完成多少任务。当然,任务要适中,要让多数学生有信心完成任务,尝到早读课的甜头。 二、创设氛围,激发兴趣 良好的学习氛围,能激发起学生强烈的求知欲望,早读课也是如此。如果在英语早读课中,针对以往的枯燥、呆板、单一,创设一种集灵活性、随机性、不均衡性于一体的课堂氛围,带来的是欢欣,是乐趣,是享受。它的感染力量、它的熏陶作用并不低于影视、音乐的艺术效果。当然,要达到这种至美境界,要创设理想的英语早读课教学环境,而且是在三尺讲台、三十分钟的有限空间和时间内,是很不容易的,需要教师下苦功、花心思去营造这样的氛围,以激发学生对早读课的兴趣。这就犹如小提琴家上弦、歌唱家定调,第一音定准了,便为演奏和歌唱奠定了良好基础。它也好比是一块磁石,牢牢地把学生吸引到课上来。在平时的早读课中,我经常采用以下一些方法: 1.利用录音机播放课文朗读带,让学生随着磁带声情并茂地朗诵,进而跟着小声模仿朗读,之后再独立朗读。 2.请朗诵水平较突出的学生表率朗读,激发起其他学生的表现欲,形成竞相朗读的学习气氛。 3.运用学生朗读背诵的成果,调动学生的学习积极性。中学生内心都有一种强烈的自我表现欲望,满足了这一点,学生的学习热情定会高涨。 三、灵活形式,绽放精彩 早读课不同于课堂教学,它是课堂知识的巩固和课外知识延伸的重要阵地,知识的容量和密度明显小于课堂,形式不像课堂教学那样规矩严格。但它能更好地体现学生的主体性,增进学生之间的合作与默契,在激发学生英语学习兴趣方面起着积极的作用。所以,在形式上要追求创新,灵活变化,让早读课绽放精彩。 1.声情并茂的范读。文章不是无情物,对一些课文,老师要仔细揣摩、认真体味,在琅琅读书声中收到多元化的感悟,为学生提供准确清晰的示范性朗读。这不仅有助于避免学生读错单词句子,而且有助于学生更深刻透彻地理解课文。 2.即兴演讲式早读。可以是开学第一节早读课上富有个性的介绍,可以是围绕上一周校园内外的各种逸闻趣事进行演讲,可以……演讲时一般按组依次进行。演讲结束后,老师对学生存在的优点和缺点进行具体的点评,以期下一次取得更大的进步。这种做法收到了一箭双雕的效果:一方面锻炼了学生在公众面前说话的胆量;另一方面,学生的英语口语表达能力等都得到了有效的训练。 3.赏析文本式早读。要充分地发挥英语课本中的经典文章对学生熏陶感染的教育作用,而朗读是实现这一目的的主要途径。在早读课时,也可规定学生所要读的篇目,然后学生选择,选择自己最喜欢读的段落,读给全班的学生听。这种做法更多地适用于篇幅比较短的文章。朗读型检查作业,有一点是必须注意的,即老师以抽签的形式确定由谁来朗读,具体的做法就是用课本的页码数字当作学生自己的学号,老师随手翻,翻到那一个页码,就由这一个页码数对应的学号的学生站起来朗读,并说说自己喜欢的原因,最后由全体同学来评定优劣。 4.扩充式的早读。根据中考英语作文新的评分标准要求,每天早读课之前,我安排学生在黑板上摘抄好的一篇作文,作为早读的一部分。为此学生就必须去广泛阅读,有意识地去搜集好的英语作文。这样可以督促学生变“要我读”为“我要读”,让学生看到自己的价值,品尝自己成功的喜悦,从而对读书产生浓厚的兴趣。正如叶圣陶先生所说:“把教师的要求转变成学生的需要是改变教学的最高境界。” 我想,只要用心、用情,早读这块得天独厚的英语园地一定会焕发无穷生机,为我们的英语教学增色添彩!“书读百遍,其义自见”,“文章不厌百回读,熟读精思子自知”,“读书破万卷,下笔如有神”,当我们充分重视了早读,努力提高早读的效率,早读课也就绽放了它应有的精彩,让我们共同期待这一刻的早日到来!
