五年级英语（上）Unit1 What’s he like A Let’s talk说课稿坞桥小学何文芳一、说教材《What's he like?》选自PEP 的五年级上册第1单元第二课时，是有关人物外貌与性格的教学内容。
教材的Part A let’s talk部分充分地考虑到小学生的实际需求，设计了真实自然的情景——了解老师。
从三年级学的描述人物外貌到四年级学各个学科教师及性格，再到现在五年级学的谈论老师外貌与性格，它既体现了本套教材循序渐进，螺旋上升的编排意图，又体现了英语知识承前启后的紧密相关性，符合学生的认识规律。
1、语言任务：在本次教学活动过程中，教师是组织者，起引导作用；学生是“主角”，是活动的主体，他们以小组为单位，进行口语、笔头练习。
教师和学生之间既是师生关系，同时也互相合作、交流，因此又是合作伙伴关系。
这次活动采用情景法、交际法及“任务型”教学途径。
在教学过程中，关注学生的情感，尊重每个学生，保护他们的自尊心和积极性，营造宽松、民主的教学氛围，建立融洽、和谐的师生交流渠道，依据本单元的教学目标，并结合教学内容设计贴近学生实际的教学活动，鼓励他们在学习中尝试，吸引和组织他们积极参与，从培养学生的合作精神和语言运用能力。
2、教学目标根据教材内容和《英语课程标准》的要求，我确定以下目标：（1）知识目标：能听懂、会说句子“Who is…?He/She is.....Is he /she.....? 并能在实际情景中进行运用。
（2）能力目标：1、能听懂提示语，按照Let’s try 的录音内容判断两张配图的正误。
2、能听懂，会说，会表演Let’s talk的内容并在真实场景中运用。
（3）情感、策略、文化目标：1、用任务型语言教学途径，让学生在“做”中学，激发学生学习英语的兴趣。
2、培养学生学习英语的积极态度，使学生乐于合作参与，勇于进行交际实践。
3、教学重、难点根据教学内容及教学目标，我确定以下教学重、难点：a、重点是：能熟练使用句子“Who is…?He/She is…Is he /she....进行问答练习。

二、教学目标：
1. 能听说读单词“Ms”，“will”和“sometimes”。
2. 能听懂会说句子“Hey, Ms Wang will be our new English teacher.”，“What’s … like?”，
“Yes, sometimes.”。
3. 能完成“Let’s try”部分的听力任务。
4. 提高学生自主学习、主动学习的能力和意识，创造良好的英语学习氛围。
三、教学重难点：
重点：1. 能听、说、认读单词“Ms”，“will”和“sometimes”。
2. 能听懂、会说句子“Hey, Ms Wang will be our new English teacher.”，“What’
s … like?”，“Yes, sometimes.”。
难点：1. 了解“will”表示一般将来时的用法。
2. 单词“sometimes”的正确理解和运用。
四、教学过程：
Step1. Warm-up
1.教师运用多媒体课件复习所学单词，并通过What’s missing游戏再次巩固旧知。
2. 教师依次出示四个半遮掩人物图片，通过所给提示，猜人物，学生问：“What引导学生说出What’s he / she like?”，然后根据教师所给的语句进行操练。

教师用多媒体出示一个大家不认识的年轻女人的图片，与学生进行对话，如：T: Look at the woman in the picture. Who’s she? Ss:She’s Ms Wang ..
(1) 明确听力任务

(2) 第一次播放教学录音，学生根据录音内容勾出正确选项。
(3) 第二次播放教学录音，师生一起核对答案

第三次播放教学录音，全班学生跟着录音读，提醒学生在跟读的过程中药注意模仿录音中的语音、语调。
4. 教师板书并教授新单词Ms.和sometimes , wil ,再次强调really的读音，领读几遍确保学
生会读。
5. 同桌合作练习表演对话，然后教师请几对学生表演。
6. 根据板书，复述课文
7. 用句型“What’s … like?”，“He’s / She’s …”谈论老师朋友或家庭成员的性格特征，
教师先以班里某学生为例介绍人物，再以小组为单位练习。
(3) 教师请两三对学生呈现对话。
