I feel great honored to deliver this speech, which is aimed to introduce some of Shandong’s fine foods.
Shandong is not only famous for its high-tech civilization, historical and cultural relics, but also be known fo r it’s delicious, various kind of food. As is know to all, these dishes are among the best four categories of foods in China, and perhaps the most widely accepted.
Shandong cuisine is the combination of Jinan dish and Jiaodong dish and also the Konffuyan. It takes a long time for Lucai to form its own shape, which can date back to Qinhan Dynasty. Nearly two thousand years ago. There are more than thirty techniques in cooking, and Bao, Pa is the original and remarkable techniques in cuisine.
You know that, there are numerous kind of dishes waiting to get introduced, I could just list a few of them in this limited time .I searched for the Internet, finding that the most famous dish is Sweet and Sour Yellow River Carp ,which means 糖醋黄河鲤鱼，which is usually regarded the best among other dishes .
Another famous dish is called” Nine switch large
intestine” and九转大肠is its Chinese name. many other
dishes ,which their names are hard to translated are 德州扒鸡，宫保鸡丁，南阳烧野鸭黄家烤肉泰山三美，more than we can list here.
The seafood cooking is also an importable part of Shandong Cuisine, especially in Jiaodong areas. Famous dishes include Braised Shrimp, sea fish soup, and stewed fish or shellfish.
In some TV programs ,especially in some sections
reflecti ng ancient days ,you may heard of a banquet called ‘满汉全席’It is the name giving to the first class of
Kongfuyan ,which is cooked carefully for the honored guests or for some sort of important occasions like
weddings ,funerals ,or celebrations.
They are often costumer ordered, alone with delicate candies and cakes.
Shandong cooks ‘intelligence is not merely limited in cooking delicious dishes; they also focus their attention on crop or wheat products, and never stop designing new patterns and tastes. Famous Products such like 煎饼滕州大烧饼范镇火烧潍坊和乐周村薄酥烧饼猪耳朵面绿豆糕、栗子糕、凉糕枣煎饼缠手酥，nearly countless.
Besides food, Shandong also provides many native
products, such as Laiyang Pear, Feicheng Peach, Zhangqiu Scallion, and Yantai Apple.
In the end of this lecture, what I want to indicate
is :different region hold different people(一方水土养一方人)，while sometimes we may not quite satisfied with the foods provided in different area, we should hold the belief that long-lasting things should have their reasons for their existence . For instance, different tastes occupy different places. To a degree, they are all delicious. Though.
