(请学生在小组内展示自己画的动物园的图,并相互介绍各种动物的形态。选几名同学在全班展示)
Step2 Lead-in
1.T:Let’s have a game“Guess who I am.”(猜猜我是谁)
(1)教师做动作对“I’m fat/thin/tall...”的语言结构做示范,学生模仿。
(2)教师再次通过语言进行描述,由学生对教师所描述的动物名称进行猜测。

教学内容分析
本模块的教学内容是识别并描述动物。
第一单元的课文情景是学生在教师的带领下参观动物园，学生可能不认识某些动物（更大的可能是不知道这些动物用英语怎么说），就去询问教师，教师一一作答。最后Sam.和Amy看到一只憨态可掬的熊猫，大家惊呼：“这只熊猫好胖！”。

教材分析：
本课是外研社小学英语新课标三年级起点第二册第二模块的第二单元，通过Sam和Daming看到演员后的对话，重点教会学生形容词tall short big small fat thin 及描述动物外形的英语表达方式和句型，“This ... is …” /“That ...
is ...”。
学情分析：
经过一个学期的学习，学生已经适应了英语课堂教学，但由于年龄的特点，注意力容易分散，缺乏观察、发现、判断、总结事物的能力与方法，对自己有时不能严格要求，一些良好的学习习惯尚未定型。所以在本学期，我们应该继续加强良好的英语学习习惯的养成训练，有步骤、有计划的在教学过程中逐一落实。
