一、教材分析：
本模块是小学英语第六册的内容，主题为Decisions，主要功能是描述事物的特征。
要求教师能够引导学生学会选择适合自己的物品，并能用英语来说明理由。
Unit１主要是呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容。
二、教学目标
（一）知识目标
1. 会说单词light , broken , heavy , pocket
2、会说句型：This black bag is nice. It’s big.以及It’s big and light. It’ll be easy for her.
（二）能力目标
比较两种事物，发现其优点及缺点选择适合自己的物品并说明理由；描述物品的特征，根据描述找出物品。
三、教学重难点
1、单词：light，broken，heavy，pocket
2、句型：This black bag is nice. It’s big. It’s big and light. It’ll be easy for her.
3、难点：学会用英语描述事物的特征并进行比较。
四、设计思路
我以小学英语课程标准作为指导，以充分调动学生的积极性和主动性作为前提。
充分调动每一个学生参与到活动中来，利用各种方式，充分调动学生的一切感官：视觉、听觉、触觉，让学生边看、边听、边说、边读、边写。
使学生在轻松的学习目标、轻松的学习氛围中，快乐地学，主动地学，在最短的时间中最大的发挥学生潜能。
在教案设计之初，我本着这一目的和课文的教学目标设计每一个环节。
首先，针对学生的年龄特点，围绕教学目标，我设计了说唱来复习大小、新旧的形容词；设计了游戏 what is missing 来复习颜色。
让学生对要进行的语言活动得到足够的语言储备。
其次，充分利用教室资源和实物呈现本课单词，并在此基础上进行课文教学。
并且以TPR形式巩固本课句型。
使学生听说能力得到充分练习。
最后，留出充分的时间，使孩子们对所学的知识进行巩固练习。
两人一组根据图片完成课本第三部分的对话练习，以此使他们能在现实生活中直接运用本课语言。

《It’s big and light.》教案一、教材分析：本课的内容是《新标准英语》第六册第五模块第一单元。
本单元主要学习描述事物的特征.本课在真实的语境中让学生学会描述物体的特征，内容从生活实际出发,贴近生活,学生容易掌握。
二、学生分析：对于五年级学生来说，形容词并不陌生，在本节课，引导学生能用更多的形容词对物品进行较为全面、准确的描述；以及能就事物的鲜明特征，恰当使用形容词进行描述。
三、学习目标：1、语言知识目标:a. 学习形容词：light broken heavy pocketb. 掌握句子：This black bag is nice / big .But its heavy.It’s big and light. It’s got two pockets.2、语言技能目标: 使学生能用所学形容词描述和比较身边事物的明显特征。
3、情感态度目标: 激发学生主动学习英语的积极情感，培养学生交流与合作的能力。

T : Yes , you’re right . And it’s nice . Can you guess it is heavy or light? (老师手拿包表现出很沉重的样子,同时出示heavy和light的卡片。)
学生跟老师读：heavy。然后老师把包递给几位同学让他们分别感受heavy并问Is it heavy ?学生回答：“Yes，it is.”
[设计意图]让学生在体验中感知单词并且进行理解。
听第三遍老师引导学生打开书并对对话进行指认跟读。教师注意适时纠正学生的语音语调。同时教师将重点句型的卡片张贴在黑板上。

[设计意图]老师通过了解学生对对话的预习情况进一步调整自己的教学目标。
老师把本节课的大挂图张贴在黑板上，逐幅图放录音并示意学生边看挂图边听。
1．找朋友。学生拿出自己手中的图片找与自己图片相似的，然后用英语进行描述图画。老师进行检查，对的同学给于奖励。
2．出示幻灯片引导学生观察图片，对图片中的物体进行比较并且描述。教师鼓励学生大胆进行想象。
1.听课本录音，熟练朗读对话对课本图画能进行描述。。
