一、教学目标
1. 语言知识目标：
1) 能掌握以下单词：story, song, party, hat, funny, beautiful
能掌握以下句型：
① —What are you doing?
—I'm watching TV.

—He's telling a story about the funny hat.
③ —What is Li Yan doing?
—She is singing a very famous English song.
2) 能掌握语法：现在进行时态的用法。
3) 能运用所学的知识，描述人们正在干的事情。

通过对本单元的举行英语晚会的活动，能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣，善于发现生活中正在发生的事情，积极思考，乐于助人，乐于参加各种活动的积极情感，培养学生团结合作的精神。
二、教学重难点
1. 教学重点：
1) 词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
2) 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如:
Telling a story, wearing a funny hat, singing a song… 等
2. 教学难点：
现在进行时中现在分词的结构及读音，能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达正在进行的动作。

四、教学过程
Ⅰ. Warming-up and Lead in
1. Greet the Ss and check the homework.
2. Watch a video program.
Ⅱ. Presentation
1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions.
2. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions.
3. Give Ss some time and try to remember the new words and expressions.
4. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.)
e.g.
T: What are you doing?
S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer)
T: What is he /she doing?
Ss: He /she is telling a story about the funny hat.
Teach: telling a story, wearing a funny hat, singing a song...as the same way.
5. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures.
6. Check the answers with the Ss.
Ⅲ. Game (guess)
1. T: Now let's play a game. What's she/he doing? You must watch the big screen carefully.
(Show some pictures on the big screen quickly) Let Ss guess what's he/she is doing?
2. Ss watch and guess the actions.

1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now let’s listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a.

1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. And conversations about other person in the picture.

（3） 老师请学生打开书，再播放一遍录音，验证各自的推断。

一、 教材分析
Lesson 25是本单元的第一课，主要讲周末Lily给爷爷打电话，告诉他这个周末她和爸爸妈妈不能去拜访的原因。重点学习用现在进行时描述正在进行或发生的动作。因为是第一次学习此时态，对学生来说有一定困难，通过创设情景引出What
are you doing? I’m v-ing.过渡到描述图片What is she/he doing? She/He is v-ing.来学习现在进行时的用法。
二、学情分析
学生以前接触过现在进行时的句子，因此本课的学习对学生来说困难不大，关键是动词-ing的发音。先复习学生已学过的短语，为后面的大量输出做铺垫。通过创设情景和描述图片引出句型What are you doing? I’m v-ing. What is she/he
doing? She/He is v-ing. 以及四个新短语。打电话用语是第四单元要求掌握的，本课只要求能理解其意和学会在怎样的情景下使用。
三、 教学目标

1）学生能听懂、会说、认读短语：make a call,write an email, wash the clothes,clean
the room. 2）学生能认读、理解并运用下列句型：
What are you doing? I’m cleaning the room.

一、教学内容与分析
Just talk
周末Lily给爷爷打电话，告诉他这个周末她和爸爸妈妈不能去拜访的原因。这是生活中常见的语境。让学生仔细观察，引出本课要学习的目标语言，让学生从会话中感知、模仿、学习和体验，最终能用I’m +v-ing的句型进行语言交际。
目标语言：I’m cleaning my room.
二、课前准备
1. 准备教学CD-ROM、教学课件、教学挂图，用于创设情境，进行新课的学习。
2. 准备动词教学卡片，用于练习词语。
3. 准备奖励贴等，用于对学习效果进行评价。
三、初学步骤与建议
Step 1: Warm-up/Revision
1)师生问好
T: Good mooring/afternoon, boys and girls.
Ss: Good mooring/afternoon, Mr/Miss ...
T: Nice to see you again!
Ss: Nice to see you, too.
2)TPR活动
教师边说以前所学动词词语，边带领学生做相应的动作，如run, jump, play football, go swimming等，使学生逐步进入学习状态，为新课的学习做好铺垫。
Step 2: Presentation
1)教师出示准备好的以前所动学的教学卡片，让学生认读，并鼓励学生说出相关的动词词语。以卡片play为例：
