五、教学设计
Step 1 Warm-up
1. Stick the word cards on the blackboard and play a bingo game to revise the new words
of last lesson.
2. Watch the flash and say the chant of Page24 together. 设计思路：通过游戏和歌谣来复习上节课的旧知识，调动学生的学习积极性，提高英语学习兴趣。让学生快速地进入学习状态，并为学习新课做好铺垫。
Step 2 Preview
老师提出以下列问题，让学生思考：
1. What is your favourite festival?
2. Which season is it in?
3. What do you do at this festival?
4. Why do you like it?
设计思路：通过这四个问题的设置，可以起到承上启下的作用。使第一环节自然过渡到第二个环节，第二环节又自然过渡到本节课重点部分，即下面的新授环节。
Step 3 Presentation
1. 新课导入
After saying the chant of Page 24. The teacher has a free talk with the students:
T: Wonderful! You did a very good job. I think you have lots of fun. Next please answer
my questions.

2. Unit 2 Activity 6 Guess and say.
Use PPT to show the pictures of Activity 6. Let the students guess and say in pairs, use the
pattern：
A: What is your favourite festival? B: My favourite festival is...
A: Is it in...?
A: What do you do at this festival?
A: Can you tell me more about it?

Give the students several minutes to practise, and then act out. Then have a competition to
make short dialogues.
3. Activity 7 Write and talk.
Write about your favourite festival and talk about it.
T: Just now we guessed and talked about your favourite festival. Now please write about
your favourite festival like the following: My favourite festival is the Dragon Boat
Festival. It is a special day for Chinese people. On this day, we eat zongzi and see the
dragon boat race.
T: I will give you minutes to write and then I will ask some of you to read your short
passage to the class.
5 minutes later let the students come to the front and read their passage to the class.
4.Page 24 Activity 4 Listen and learn to say.
Show the sentences of this part on the screen.
Can you tell me rnore about American festivals, Simon?
Well, Thanksgiving is my favourite festival.
We always have a special meal. It’ s a big family dinner.
We say “thank you” for our food, family and friends.
Ask the students individually to read the sentences one by one, correct their mistakes in
time. Pay attention to the stress.
Next let the students listen to the tape and repeat after the tape. And let the class read the
sentences together. Tell the class the rules of reading sentences.（规则就是：句子中粗体单调要重读，划线部分是单词的重读音节）
设计思路：本环节是让学生把上节课所学的单词和句子进行巩固和运用，通过各种各样的活动来操练单词、重点句型和对话，做到了把所学知识用于实践，符合新课标的要求。
Step 4 Consolidation and extension
活动：
Use PPT to show some pictures of festivals on the screen. Let them use the pattern to talk
about the pictures. Give the students several minutes to practise and then act out.
学生四人为一组任选一个节日来用所学句型来谈论，两人编写对话并书写在卡纸上，两人上台演示他们自己编写的对话。（注意纪律的控制）展示学生的成果，并给予评价。
播放幻灯片，提出编写对话的要求。
对话内容举例：

本课是外研社新标准小学英语（一年级起点）六年级下册第九模块第一单元。本单元的话题是表达毕业祝福，让学生在学习和日常交际中能感知到中外文化的异同尤其是祝福语的异同。通过本单元的学习学生能在班上互致毕业祝愿。
二．学情分析
本课的教学对象虽是六年级的学生但在表达祝福的语句运用上，这是新学内容。对于学生来说的相对陌生的话题。因此需教师设定各种情境加强运用训练，帮助学生达到熟练掌握的目标。
三．教学目标
知识目标：
1.学生将掌握以下单词：best wishes, luck, primary

2.学生将掌握主句型: Best wishes to you!
能力目标：
1.听：学生能听懂activity2的课文情景并回答相关问题.
2.读：学生能朗读,跟读activity2的课文. 3.练：学生能通过思维导图复述课文中Daming的三位朋友对他写的话并能在班上跟自己的同学互致毕业祝福。
情感目标：通过学习互致毕业祝愿，让学生在情境中感知中外文化的异同。让学生明白在面对分别时可能充满难过与不舍，但再见亦是新的开始。在体会这个过程的同时，学会感恩父母与老师。

Where is New York？
It’s here in the east.
Canada is north of America and Mexico is south of America.
功能：
讲述某地的地理位置和相关的基本信息.
运用任务：
1. 热身复习
老师出示一张中国地图进行介绍：“This is a map of China. I’m from Guizhou. It’s in
the south of China”如果有必要，可以用中文稍加解释和说明，然后向学生们提问：“Where are you from? Where is your pen friend from?’’如果学生能说出其他国家的名称，要及时鼓励表扬，并带领其他学生一起学习。
2．导入：
老师出示Simon的图片，向学生提问：“Who is he?” “Where is he from?
引导回答:“Simon’s from New York, America.” 老师把单词写在黑板上，领读，然后提问：“Where is New York?”
老师出示美国地图并向学生提问：“This is a map of America. Can you find New
York?” 引导学生在地图上找到纽约的位置。可以向学生说明：“纽约是美国的一个重要城市。大家已经在地图上找到了它的位置，可是你们知道用英语应该怎样表达吗?今天我们就来学习这些内容。”
3．课文教学

一、教学目的：
学生能够看图正确描述不同人称所正在发生的行为和动作，并能够正确运用。
二、教学重难点：学生在运用现在进行时的时候，能根据不同的人称正确选用“be”。
三、教学准备：图片，录音机，小星星
四、教学过程：
（一）热身活动
学生分组表演SB Unit1中的故事，评出“最佳表演小组”和“最佳语言奖”，由老师给予奖励。
（二）复习
1．老师把以前学习过的一些动词写在黑板上，请学生把他们改为的形式 如do, play ,row,
drink, cycle, swim, jump, help, listen, watch, run, walk等，特别要学生注意cycling, swimming,
running的拼写。
2．开展“猜猜看”的游戏。老师请几组两人或多人小组到讲台上，学生根据老师展示给他们的图片做出相应的动作，老师可向学生提问：“What are they doing?”，请下面的学生回答：“They are…….”，以此复习上节课的内容。
（三） 课文教学
1．老师在黑板上画四幅简笔画：
1）Amy正在跑步。
2）大明正在跳。
3）Amy正在听音乐。
4）大明正在看电视。然后指着画，向学生提问：“What is Amy doing?/What is Daming
doing?”，引导学生一起回答“She is running./He is jumping./She is listening to music./He is
watching TV.”。
2.老师告诉学生，将随意指出其中一幅画，要求学生根据画的内容进行回答。老师问：“What is she doing?/What is he doing?”，学生用：“She is……/ He is……”回答。
