Some people are permitted to travel cheaply on a bus if they have a card. Women may get the card when they are sixty.
Mrs Matthews lived in the country but she went into town once a week to buy food and other things for the house，and she usually traveled by bus. She always had to pay the full price for her ride.
Then she reached the age of sixty and got her card；but when she used it for the first time on the bus，it made her feel very old.

高中英语听力教学方法 发表时间：2017-07-20T15:10:40.713Z 来源：《教育学》2017年6月总第120期作者：邓碧[导读] 听力在整个高中阶段的英语学习过程中都是至关重要的，在高考中也占据了重要的位置。 湖南省常德市第三中学415000 摘要：英语作为一门国际化的语言，在当今世界都是通用的，所以英语也受到了越来越多的人的关注。学习一门语言主要就是从“听、说、读、写”四个方面入手，而听就放在了第一位，听力在整个高中阶段的英语学习过程中都是至关重要的，在高考中也占据了重要的位置。 关键词：英语听力学习方法教学方法 一、教学过程中发现的问题 1.缺乏学习兴趣。 现在很大一部分的学生，明知道英语听力在高中阶段英语学习的重要性，却不以为然，不重视英语听力的学习。学生们不喜欢学英语听力，认为英语听力在今后的生活中没有什么作用，听力在高考中所占的分值不高，所以缺乏学习兴趣。英语学习是一个需要积累的过程，不可能像有的学科，可以快速提分。高中学生学习压力繁重，没有很多的课余时间，比较贪玩，对英语的学习缺乏自觉性和坚持的毅力。多数学生学习英语主要就是靠死记硬背，对英语学习没有方法和技巧，长此以往英语成绩得不到提高，很容易就丧失了学习的兴趣。 2.基础知识掌握不扎实。 基础知识的掌握情况对英语听力的学习是能起到举足轻重的作用的。 （1）词汇的积累不够，词汇是学习英语的基础，词汇积累的不够，在英语的学习中寸步难行，在英语听力中，能听懂的意思是支离破碎的甚至完全不能听懂所表达的意思。 （2）不能掌握语音知识，平时对英语的朗读少，缺乏对语言音节规律的掌握，对英语的音节、重读、连读不熟悉，阻碍自己的理解能力。 3.缺乏学习技巧。 在学习过程中，缺乏学习技巧，导致学习效率低，学习成绩没有显著的提高。在进行文章的听力中，听懂了前面部分的内容，在听后半部分时又忘记了前面部分所听到的。有的时候，文章的全篇大意听明白了，但在细节上又不知道讲了什么了。有的同学学会在听听力时，抓住听力材料中的关键词，但最后发现所选择的答案与正确的答案却是恰恰相反的意思。学生们都会存在各种各样的因为缺乏技巧，所出现的问题，那么这个时候高效的学习技巧，就显得尤为重要了，教师引导学生掌握听力的技巧，提高答题的正确率。 4.教学方法欠缺。 教师的教学方法存在一定的问题，在对学生进行听力训练的过程中，只注重听力数量的练习，不注重学生在听力过程中的掌握情况。在听力过程中，教师只顾播放听力材料，对答案，不对听力内容、学习方式进行有效的指导，导致学生听力的学习得不到突破，成绩得不到提高。教师在进行听力教学的过程中，不关注学生对听力的掌握能力，只是单一地使用高考听力资料。学生们的英语能力是参差不齐的，开始时就用高考听力材料，难度较高，会使学生们望而生畏，在英语听力的学习过程中，压力过大，打击学生们的自信心，从而产生厌学心理。 二、教学方法的改进 1.加强词汇的掌握。 想要把英语学好，掌握好词汇就是关键了，加强学生的词汇量，对他们英语的学习是受益良多的。教师每天布置一定数量的单词，要求学生掌握单词的读音、拼写、中文意思，在第二天的课堂进行听写。听写一直以来都是有效地帮助学生提高英语词汇量的手段，也能让教师检查到学生对单词的掌握情况。还可以设立英语小组，小组由成绩不同的同学组成，可以让组内成绩较为优异的同学对其他的同学进行帮助，组内的同学们也可以相互帮助，相会监督。 2.加强听力训练。 提高听力能力是一个需要由量变到质变的过程，加强听力的训练，慢慢的积累，在平时的训练过程中，总结经验和方法技巧。加大平时的听力量，培养学生的语感，让学生掌握英语听力中的音节规律，熟悉英语在读法上的方式。在听力材料的选择上，不要单一地选择高考听力材料，遵循学习的认知规律，从简单的听力材料上让学生开始练习，由基础到难，让学生有一个循序渐进的过程，不断地提高自己的听力水平。帮助学生们建立自信心，找到学习的动力，激发对英语听力学习的积极性。还可以鼓励学生在课余之时，看一些英语电影、电视剧，减少看中文字幕，尽量自己尝试看懂内容，听一些英语歌曲，不要单纯地欣赏歌曲的旋律，尝试听一听歌词，看看自己能听懂多少。在高中繁重的学习压力下，看一些英语影视剧和听英语歌，劳逸结合放松一下，还有助于提高英语听力，一举两得。 3.学习技巧。 “授人以鱼不如授人以渔”，引导学生们使用高效的学习方法，不仅可以使学生有效地提高听力水平，还可以提高和激发学生们的学习兴趣。 （1）听懂主旨。任何一个听力材料，都有中心思想，听懂中心思想，有助于学生更好地理解全篇文章，提高做题的正确率。 （2）做笔记。一段英语听力听完后，很难完全记住，全篇文章的内容，快速、准确、简单地做一些笔记，帮助理解记忆全篇的内容。例如： When can the man see the headmaster? 高中英语教学论文：谈高考英语听力测试 如何提高学生的听力水平，是当前广大师生所关心的问题。本文拟就这个问题谈一些看法。 一、排除影响听力理解的障碍 1.语言障碍 （1）语音、语调语言首先是有声的，其最本质的物质外壳是语音、语调。学习语言，如果语音不准，又不能正确把握语调，就会失去一定的辩音能力，这势必影响整体的听力理解。所以，语音问题在听力教学中不可忽视，尤其是在语言学习的初始阶段，强化语音训练对提高听力水平更是尤其重要。教师通过讲解、示范帮助学生纠正不正确的发音，辨别相似音素之间的区别，过好音标关，同时，选择适当的录音材料进行模仿、跟读和听写等练习，培养学生对语流中的连读、同化、不完全爆破、弱读、重读、升调、降调等一些语音、语调变化的敏感性以及语速的适应性。教师还可以选用英美人士的对话录音材料，帮助学生在实践中不断掌握技巧，培养语感，熟悉、模仿标准的英语对话和朗读。同时分析说话者如何利用不同的语调表达态度、情感和隐含的内容。 （2）语言知识 语言知识对听力产生的困难体现在词汇、短语、句型和语法等方面。许多人认为：听得越多，听力理解能力越强。诚然，多听是提高听力的一种积极手段，但听力水平的高低不完全取决于听的次数多少，它还与听者的英语知识水平密切相关。 词汇量是英语知识的基础，若没能掌握一定的词汇量，即使在听的过程中能模仿出听到的声音，但却无法把它与所代表的词汇联系起来，便失去对词义的了解，以致影响整体听力理解的水平。 英汉语言结构差异较大，如英语复合句中从句的位置比较灵活，而汉语通常按照事情发生的先后排列语序，在阅读时可以运用语法知识分析句子，但听音过程是快速的心理活动过程，需要在瞬间内完成。所以学生必须熟练掌握有关的语法知识，了解英语语法结构的规律性，从而提高正确理解句子和段落乃至语篇的敏感性和准确
