二、教学目标英语新课程标准指出，基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
而综合语言运用能力又以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的综合素养为基础。
基于以上认识，我将教学目标确定为：1. 知识目标能听录音完成Let’s try的练习题，能运用句子“Is he/she ...?”询问别人是否正在做某事并能对疑问句作肯定或否定回答，能描述他人正在做的事情。
2. 情感目标激发学生学习英语的兴趣，调动学习积极性，引导学生积极与他人合作，在活动中培养学生的协作精神，培养学生懂得现在进行时的表达方式。
3. 能力目标培养学生的听说能力。
培养学生乐于表达，勇于展示自我的能力发展学生综合运用语言的能力。
三、教学重、难点1. 重点：能用一般现在时来询问别人正在做什么并作肯定或否定回答。
2. 难点：句型：Is he drinking water? Yes, he is./No, he isn’t.四、教学策略语言的实质是交际，交际的环境在生活。
本课主要以故事为主线，通过听，说，读，扮演，游戏激趣，任务设置，讨论等等方式逐步引导学生使用英语完成实际交际的语言任务。
以一种自然的人际交往对话贯穿教学活动全过程，使课堂焕发出富有情意的生命活力。
本着积极倡导自主、合作、探究的学习方式的教育理念，教学中采用情景法、多媒体辅助教学法、交际法、游戏法等进行教学。
