Module 5 Unit 1 There are only nineteen crayons.一、课标内容新课标要求小学英语应以提高学生兴趣为主，学生通过听、说、动唱、游戏等具备一定的语言基础，并获得初步的听说能力和一定的语感。
本节教材内容从说唱入手让学生动起来正好体现了新课标的要求。
二、教材分析本课教材是外语教学与研究出版社的《新标准英语》三年级起点的第五册教材Module 5 Unit1内容。
由chant,课文，重点句子，练习四部分组成。
学生已经掌握1至12的数量词。
本课要求学生掌握13-19的数量词，并学会对数量进行提问和回答。
三、学情分析五年级学生经过两年的英语学习，有了一定的英语基础，部分学生已经形成了良好的听说读写的好习惯。
他们在课堂上认真听讲，积极发言，课下及时巩固和预习，按时完成作业。
也有部分学生由于家庭原因和自身不好的学习习惯导致出现了学习英语极度困难。
这些学生上课听不懂，课下也不能完成作业，学习英语的难度一步步加大，有的甚至放弃了英语学习。
针对这种两极分化的情况，老师采用了小组内互相帮助的措施。
对于优秀的学生，老师在把握教材上可以加以适当拓展，拔高优等生的学习水平。
而对于学困生来说，老师在课堂上应多设计一些简单的活动和游戏来提高他们的学习兴趣。
同时设置一些简单的问题鼓励他们多多参与课堂，从而提高他们学习英语的自信心。
四、教学目标（一）知识目标1.能听说认读单词及词组：thirteen，fourteen，fifteen，sixteen，seventeen，eighteen，nineteen，number，crayon，give out, floor2.能听懂认读句子：There are only nineteen crayons.（二）技能目标能运用句型“there are”描述物品的数量。
