接同位语从句时,doubt用在否定句中,后面接that 引 导的同位语从句;doubt用在肯定句中,后面接whether 引导的同位语从句,注意不可以用if替换whether。
◆They quarreled with each other but soon made up.
他们吵了一架,但是很快就言归于好。 ◆It's silly to quarrel over the matter. 就此事争吵是愚蠢的。

需接that引导的宾语从句;如用于肯定句中,doubt后面 一 般 接 whether 或 if 引 导 的 宾 语 从 句 。 在 肯 定 句 中 , doubt后面也可以接that引导的宾语从句,但表示疑虑较 大或不相信。
②D 句意:此前我怀疑我是否应该参加这个会 议。根据后面宾语从句的连接词whether及句子 意义,用doubt表示“怀疑”。
