1、 W hat do you want to be when you grow up?你长大以后打算做什么？
（1）want to be 意為“想成為”，后常加表示職業的名詞。
He wants to be an artist.他想成為一名畫家。
注意：want 可用一般現在時表將來，一般不與be going to 連用。
（2）when 意為“當........時候”，引導時間狀語從句。
在含有when 引導的從句中，如果主句和從句的動作都發生在將來，主句用將來時，從句用一般現在時表將來（主將從現），反之，主句用一般現在時，從句用一般將來時。
