本节课是三年级上册《英语》第八单元Unit8 Happy new year!的第一课时Story time板块的教学。
在教学中，我首先让学生跟着一起唱英语歌曲“Happy new year”，这很好地调动了学生的学习积极性。
接着我通过师生交流，拉近与学生的距离.创设情境，新年到了，需要买礼物送给别人庆祝新年，接着老师带领学生进入商店，看一看有什么东西可以买的。
通过这样的方式教学本节课的重点词汇doll、ball、robot、car、CD 。
在教授这些词汇的时候，可以向学生问What's this?,先渗透本节课的重点句型。
当出示第四个单词时，老师可以换个问题，问What's that?由此引出本节课重点句型，然后反复操练。
做到句不离词，词不离句。
接着过渡到我们的老朋友Mike家里有客人拜访，并且带来了许多礼物，这个客人是谁？这些礼物有什么？从而顺利地进入文本的学习。
在进入文本的`学习中，首先提问这位客人是谁，带了什么礼物？让学生观看卡通，了解故事的大概内容，然后依次回答这些内容。
让学生完成Task1 Watch and Circle。
接着，向学生提问，Mike、Helen和Tim的礼物分别是什么？让学生自己翻开课本，阅读第八单元story time，根据书本内容，完成Task2 Read and Match。
最后朗读课文，采取跟读录音、齐读以及分角色朗读等阅读方式来完成阅读任务。
在学习完文本之后，需要对本节课的主要内容进行巩固。
因此通过Make a dialogue，将本节课的重点句型融合在对话中，给出对话范例，让学生根据提示完成对话内容。

教学的重点是“Happy New Year”、“Thank you”的含义以及其用法，复习了上一单元的`基本句型“What’s this?”并在本课增加对句型“What’s that”的学习。
本课生词较多，尤其是各种节日礼物的名称，包括a doll/a ball/a car/a robot/a CD在教学过程中要注意化难为易。
2、教学目标（1）能力目标：能够用英文征询别人的意见和表达自己愿望。
（2）知识目标：能够听、说、读本课的单词doll/ball/car/robot/CD,能听懂Happy new year!, Thank you.（3）情感、策略、文化等有关目标：A情感态度：培养学生学习英语的兴趣，丰富学生的英语交际方式，用英语向他人表达节日的问候，让学生感受英语的乐趣和成功的喜悦。
B学习策略：注重听读能力的培养。
3、重点与难点：重点：1、掌握单词new/doll/ball/car/nice/robot做到发音正确，语调自然。
2、会听、会说、会读句子“Happy new year”, “Thank you.难点：能用所学语言进行拜新年的情景对话活动。
4、教学方法根据以上对教材的分析，我采用创设情景法、直观法、小组合作法等教学方法。
以课标为指导，以听读结合为方式，坚持“词不离句”的教学原则，坚持以话题为核心，以听读结合的方法安排本课教学。
二、教学过程1、导入阶段：以演唱“Happy New Year!”开始本节课，创设一个轻松的学习环境，激发学生的学习兴趣；2、呈现和操练阶段（1）新年到了，除了唱歌跳舞，我们还能通过赠送礼物的方式来庆祝新年，创设情境，进入商店买礼物，自然引出句子what’s this?，分别呈现五个重点词汇。
