20世纪90年代以来，随着科学技术的进步和各国经济的飞速发展，国际工程承包市场遍及世界各地。
就目前来看，世界上已形成了亚太、中东、欧洲、非洲、北美和拉美六大地区工程承包市场。
其中,亚太、欧洲、北美地区市场规模较大,集中了大部分的国际承包商。
（一）亚太市场亚太市场是指亚洲和太平洋地区，包括东南亚、西北亚、东亚、南亚和澳大利亚、新西兰等地区。
