二、教材分析：本节课通过通过Tom和Amy的对话展开的，课文的主要内容，即What’s this? It’s a …….课型为新授课。
本单元学习的主要目的是在理解课文内容的基础上，使学生学会运用What’s this? It’s a …….进行问答；通过实物、图片、等多种教学手段呈现并巩固教学内容，同时让学生学会用英语询问他人某物，在活动中运用身边实物，体现英语学习生活化。
三、教学重点：能听懂、会说、会运用句型“What’s this? It’s a …”“What’s that? It’s a …”询问并识别物品的名称。
四、教学难点：以任务型教学为主，倡导体验实践，合作交流，以学生为主体的教学方法。

一、教学目标
1、全体学生能理解词汇teacher/school/classroom/pupil/English.
2、全体学生能初步运用词汇this ,teacher, school;部分学生能初步运用词汇pupil, English.
3、全体学生能初步运用This is my school. This is my English teacher, Ms Smart.这类语句介绍场所和人物，能用What’s this?针对不认识的物品提问，并能用It’s a /an …向他人的询问作出回答。
4、培养乐于向外国小朋友介绍他们不认识的中国物品，乐于向他人介绍场所、人物，敢于指称事物、就事物进行问答的能力；培养学生的小组合作学习能力和语言综合运用能力，挖掘学生运用语言的创造能力。
二、教学重、难点：
全体学生能初步运用This is my school. This is my English teacher, Ms Smart.这类语句介绍场所和人物，能用What’s this?针对不认识的物品提问，并能用It’s a /an …向他人的询问作出回答。
