一、学习目标
1. 语言知识目标：(1) 能正确运用词汇：Spring Festival, ready, get ready
for, learn, dragon, dragon dance, lantern, sweep
(2) 现在进行时的问与答；一般现在时。
2. 语言技能目标：
听：能听辨动词词组；能听懂人们正在如何为节日做准备的对话。
说：能用现在进行时进行问答练习。
读：能读懂有关节日描述的短文，并且能将段落与图片、段落与问题匹配。
写：学会写要点、句子以及段落。
3.情感目标： 乐于接触并了解世界不同地方人们的节假日，乐于参加相关英语实践活动，提高对英语的学习兴趣，培养对异国文化，生活习俗的兴趣，提高对本国文化的认识。参加各种英语活动，克服困难，在新环境中进一步树立准确的语言学习观。
二、 教材分析
本模块话题是“节日”。要求学生掌握描述节日的表达方式，同时加强学生对中外节日的理解与认识。通过使用现在进行时，对该话题展开听、说、读、写的语言实践活动。使学生加深能够谈论或写出对该节日的介绍，并了解英语国家中重要的节假日及其主要庆祝方式。有助于学生了解世界，提高学习效率，形成自主学习的能力，为学生的终身学习奠定基础。教学中教师应随时随地以课本为出发点，灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容。
本课的教学重点是理解和掌握本课短文中出现的词汇、固定搭配和重点句型，教学难点是现在进行时的使用
教学之前用百度在网上搜索节日的相关教学材料，找了很多教案作参考，了解到教学的重点和难点，确定课堂教学形式和方法。然后根据课堂教学需要，利用百度搜索在网上搜索下载中外节日的图片做成PPT课堂给同学们演示，给学生视觉上的直观感受。
三、 教学方法
本单元的课型是“listening and speaking”以听说为主，所以教学方法采用Interactive teaching。在听的过程中注意倾听，了解大意。在读的过程中注意阅读的语调语速，通过听培养学生的语感。听然后会读，最后就是把对话变为自己的语言说出来。也就是一个和同学交流对话的过程。

1.T: What is biggest festival in China? What do you think people usually
do to get ready for Spring Festival? Let’s turn to page 8 and have a look at
how other people are getting ready for the Spring Festival (Match the words
with the pictures)
T: Look at the pictures here. Each picture tells us something about what
people are doing to prepare for the Spring Festival. I would like you to do
two tasks. First, match the words below with the pictures. Try to get the
meaning of the phrases and describe the pictures with these phrases. Second,
we will listen to the tape. Pay attention to the pronunciation and the
structures.
Ask students to look and match individually, then check with a partner.

1. Students read the conversation silently and carefully. Then let them
underline the important and difficult points and try to solve them by
themselves. Ask students to find out the sentences with structure “be

五、 教学反思
一、本课为这一模块的第一课时，以Spring Festival为话题，主要是以人们为春节所做的准备为题材，借此让学生在重温传统佳节的同时，锻炼听力能力，提高对英语的学习兴趣。这节课以耳熟能详的春节歌曲导入，再通过对春节做准备的图片鉴赏，由此过渡到本节课的教学。本模块主要通过听说读等活动展示现在进行时的应用，给学生提供充足的体验运用的机会。
