• 七年级下册承接的是上册衣服，颜色，食物， 家庭成员等一些简单的话题。学生已能用英语表 达简单情感。还掌握一些基本的礼貌用语，饭店 用餐用语，谈论季节气候等。本册书丰富了其内 容。詹尼，丹尼，李明和同学们在unit1中一起沿 古丝绸之路了解了中国的历史和文化。第二单元 是做并展示他们游览后报告的一个单元，也相当 于对前一个单元的总结。到unit3就直接进入另外 一个新话题School Life.在本单元种学生将会涉 猎校内，校外的生活，还有加拿大学校，课程和 我们国家之间的一些异同。
教材的地位和作用
• 本课是第三单元的第一课，直接切入了一 个新的话题学校生活，学校生活是每个学 生都经历着的，所以学生的兴趣应该是很 浓厚的。而第一课通过一个简单的对话， 让学生对中国和加拿大的学校生活从课程 设置，上课时间上的情况有一个认识，很 必然的接触到了一些教学重点和难点中的 短语和句型。从而也拓展到学生最喜欢的 科目上来。也为下一课詹尼的学校生活中 具体干什么埋下了伏笔。
