1．让学生朗读2a的题干，理解题干大意并观察5张图片，预测听力内容，为听力练习做好准备。
2．播放录音，完成2a的练习，教师核对答案。
3．再次播放录音，完成2b的练习。
教师随机邀请两名同学展示自己的答案，再进行核对。
4．让学生两人一组，朗读2c的对话，然后就2a和2b的信息进行对话练习。
老师挑选两三组学生当堂表演对话。
5．让学生朗读2d的对话，掌握其大意，并标记出其中的生词、重点短语及难句，老师对其进行讲解。
6．播放录音，让学生听并小声跟读，然后将学生分为两人一组进行练习，分角色表演对话。

其否定形式有两种，一种是didn’t use to be，另一种是used not to be＝usedn’t to be。

(2)Yeah，a lot of old people are lonely.
lonely adj.寂寞的；荒凉的。
它在句中常作表语或定语。
它指人的心理状态时意为“寂寞的”；指地点时意为“荒凉的，无人居住的”。
