Unit7 单元目标
一、单元总目标
本单元学习和谈论的话题是有关人物特征的描述，关于这个话题在本单元所涉及的主要的四会词汇有：aunt, uncle, kid, friends, thin, strong, old, young；本单元的功能结构是学习如何描述人物特征：She comes from the USA. She speaks English and she can speak
a little Chinese. She looks tall and thin. She likes sports. She can run very fast.
She looks very beautiful in the red dress.
第7单元的教学设计共分为4个课时。第一课时以Part A中的Let’s learn部分为主，并借助Part C中的Let’s say部分进行练习和巩固；第二课时以Part A中的Let’s talk部分为主要内容，并以Part C中的Listen and tick or cross部分进行巩固练习；第三课时主要是Let’s learn more部分中拓展知识的学习，并借助Part B Look, tick and say部分进行练习；第四课时主要处理Part B的语音部分Read the words，歌谣部分Let’s chant以及Part C的其余检测练习。具体课时分配情况见下表：

三、教学方法建议
课程导入(Leading In)
(1)课前复习
教师拿出Let’s learn部分的词汇卡片站在讲台上面对学生，每次选一位学生从这些单词卡片中随机抽取一张后做相应的动作，如：学生抽到have a cold，则该同学就做出发抖或擤鼻涕的动作，然后教师指着该生问其他的学生：
T: What’s wrong with him / her?
Ss: He / She has a cold.
教师可以多让几个学生上台表演，让台上台下都能充分练习到所有的词汇。
温馨提示：教师也可以同时让3-5学生上台，抽取卡片后表演动作，然后指着其中一位让台下的学生回答出What’s wrong with him / her? 增加活动难度。
