教学过程
环节1新课导入
教师通过PPT展示两张栽种植物的图片，然后提出问题，学生思考并口头作答。
T：Look at the pictures.Did you plant any plants before?
S1：Yes，I plant a tree with my brother in my hometown last month.
T：How did you plant the tree?
S1：Firstly，we... Then we... At last，...
T：What about other students?

设计意图：教师通过展示和种花植树有关的图片并询问学生个人相关经历的方式导入新话题，可以吸引学生的注意力；以学生感兴趣的话题开篇，主要在于吸引学生的注意力，调动学生的学习兴趣，锻炼学生的口语能力。
环节2新课学习
1．教师让学生阅读第18页“THINK ABOUT IT”中的两个问题，然后和同桌进行讨论：(1)中国的植树节是什么时候？(2)种树的基本步骤有哪些？
2．教师请两位学生起来分别回答这两个问题。
3．教师让学生快速阅读对话内容，然后播放录音。
学生认真听，注意对话中人物的语音语调和句子的停顿。
4．教师再次播放录音，学生在听的过程中勾画出生单词、重要的短语以及句子。
然后教师讲解文中的单词、短语和重难句。
5．教师让学生先熟读对话内容，然后三人为一组，分角色表演对话。
6．教师邀请两组学生当堂表演，并及时纠正学生读错的地方。
7．教师让学生完成活动1的判断题，然后教师核对答案。
8．教师让学生浏览活动2方框中的单词，明确其意思，然后把下方的句子补充完整，并给这些句子排序。
教师请两名学生分享他们的答案并指导学生订正。
9．教师让学生浏览活动3的短文以及选项，然后把短文内容补充完整。
教师核对答案。
10．教师让学生再次阅读本课所学的对话以及活动3的短文，然后两人一组讨论以下问题：为什么我们要植树？学生至少讨论出三个理由。
11．教师请三名学生起来回答他们组讨论出的结果，表现优秀的学生应给予表扬。
12．要点点拨。

其后接动词原形。
