1My Best Friend SamHey everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my very best friend in the whole world, Sam. Sam is seriously the coolest, funniest, nicest person I know. We've been best buds since kindergarten and I can't imagine life without him!I'll never forget the first day we met. It was the first day of kindergarten and I was feeling pretty nervous. I didn't know anybody and I was shy about making new friends. Well, during recess this kid with a wild mop of curly hair and a huge smile came running up to me. "Hi! I'm Sam, want to be friends?" he asked. Just like that, bam, we instantly hit it off and the rest is history! From that day on, we were totally inseparable. We did everything together - went to each other's birthday parties, had sleepovers all the time, played on the same sports teams. You name it, we did it as a duo. We even got in trouble together sometimes for goofing around too much at school!I have to say, one of the things I love most about Sam is how funny he is. He's honestly the class clown and always has me cracking up with his silly jokes and impersonations of our teachers. Math class is so much more bearable when Sam is beside me making goofy faces at the teacher when she's not looking. I try not to laugh out loud but it's hard!Sam is also super loyal and has always had my back, no matter what. Like this one time in 4th grade when Billy Thompson was picking on me during recess, Sam totally stepped up and defended me even though Billy was way bigger than both of us. Sam's not afraid of anyone or anything.Another awesome thing about Sam is how smart he is. I'm talking genius level gifted when it comes to anything math or science related. He's constantly getting awards and plaques for his smarts. I don't know what I'd do without him helping me understand all the algebra and chemistry concepts I struggle with. Honestly, he could probably be tutoring at a college level with how brilliant he is!Despite being so smart, Sam is really humble anddown-to-earth about it all. He never lords it over people or makes them feel dumb. Just an all-around great guy, you know?Laidback, easygoing, kind to everyone. People are naturally drawn to his warmth and positive vibes.I guess that's why Sam is so darn popular. Seriously, this dude knows everyone at school and everyone loves him. He's the human embodiment of the word "likable." Teachers adore him because he's a hard worker who always participates. Fellow nerds admire his genius brain. Even the jocks and popular kids think he's cool because he's a stellar athlete and just a fun person to hang around.Honestly, I don't know where I'd be without a best friend like Sam by my side through thick and thin. We've gone through so much together over the years - good times and bad, ups and downs, you name it. No matter what crazy drama was going on, I could always count on Sam's support, loyalty, and sense of humor to get me through it.Like the time my parents got divorced in middle school. I was absolutely devastated and didn't know how to process those intense emotions of sadness, anger, confusion. Sam was right there, coming over every day after school to hang out, watch stupid movies, and everything dumb jokes to cheer me up and get my mind off the upheaval at home. He's seriously got a gift for putting a smile on your face during the darkest of times.Or when I was struggling with crippling anxiety in 9th grade about friend drama, grades, college admission stress, and just feeling overwhelmed with life. Again, saint Sam to the rescue with his calming presence and always brilliant pep talks about how everything would be okay and this too shall pass. I don't think I could have made it through that tough period without him.And let's not forget all the fun, silly memories too! Like the time we tp'ed our English teacher's house as a prank and had to serve detention for weeks. Or when we epically failed at trying to sneak into the movies without paying and the owner chased us down the street. Oh, or what about the time we tried to impress some girls by showing off on Sam's neighbor's backyard zipline...and ended up with matching broken arms? Classic.Man, just writing about all these golden memories with my bestie has me grinning from ear-to-ear. What can I say, Sam makes me happy. Like, truly, deliriously happy in a way very few people on this planet can. He's been my partner-in-crime, my brother from another mother, my platonic soulmate for damn near 18 years now!I know I'm getting all sappy and mushy, but I genuinely don't know what I would do without Sam in my life. He's been myconstant, my rock, my shining light through every up, down, twist, and turn life has thrown our way so far. I'm so grateful to have a best friend like that, you know? Someone I can count on for anything at anytime, no questions asked. As we're getting ready to graduate high school and go our separate ways for college, I can't help but feel a twinge of sadness. Sam got into his dream school across the country while I'll be staying local. It's going to be so weird not having him around every day to crack jokes in the halls, study together at his kitchen table, or drag me out of my emo funk when I'm being moody.I know we promised to stay in touch and visit each other as often as humanly possible. And I trust that we'll make that happen because our friendship is one for the ages, cemented over almost two decades of growing up side-by-side. You can't break a bond like that so easily.Still, I'm definitely going to miss the heck out of my best friend. Life just won't be the same without his cheerful energy, trademark hugs, and ugly laugh that makes everyone else laugh too. I'll miss staying up all night playing video games and eating junk food, riffing about our teachers, and just being idiots together without a care in the world.Luckily, I'll always have the million amazing memories we've racked up to look back on whenever I'm feeling sad about him not being right by my side. I'll remember the way he always finds the sunshine through the clouds. How he can cheer me up by simply walking in the room with that goofy grin of his. His gift for delivering the most epic, personalized pep talks exactly when you need them most. All of the inside jokes, escapades, and dumb pranks we've gotten ourselves into since we were little kids.Whoever said, "Friends are the family you choose" really nailed it with me and Sam. Our souls just seemed to recognize each other from day one as best friend soulmates. And no matter where life takes us next, near or far, I know Sam will always be my brother in every way that matters. Here's to you, Sammy - my hilarious, huge-hearted, incredibly loyal partner in crime. Thanks for 18+ years of friendship, fun, and unconditional love. You're simply the best there is!篇2My Grandpa: The Coolest Guy I KnowHey guys! I want to tell you about my grandpa today. He's seriously the coolest old dude ever. His name is John Smith andhe just turned 75 years old this past winter. I know, I know, 75 is pretty ancient! But my grandpa is nothing like those boring, grumpy old men you might be picturing. He's full of energy, super active, and has the most amazing stories and life experiences.I've always looked up to my grandpa ever since I was a little kid. He's taught me so many important lessons over the years about working hard, being a good person, and enjoying every day to the fullest. Grandpa grew up on a farm way out in the countryside during the 1950s. Can you even imagine that? No video games, no internet, no cell phones...just good old fashioned hard work and simple living. As a young man, Grandpa was a bit of a rebel though. Against his parents' wishes, he decided not to take over the family farm. Instead, right after high school, he joined the military and served in the Vietnam War as a medic. He told me his craziest memory from that time was carrying a wounded soldier over 10 miles to the medical tent, all while being shot at by the enemy! Grandpa received a Purple Heart medal for his bravery and courage during that rescue mission. How insane is that? After coming back home from the war, Grandpa went to college and became an elementary school teacher. He said he loved working with kids and trying to be a positive role model after everything he had seen and experienced in Vietnam. For almost 40 years, he shaped young minds and helped steer generations of students down the right path. Many of his former pupils still keep in touch with him to this day and thank him for his guidance when they were little. When he finally retired from teaching, you'd think Grandpa would want to just relax and take it easy, right? No way! This guy cannot sit still. He took up tons of new hobbies like woodworking, gardening, fishing, you name it. He even learned how to sail and has been all around the Caribbean on sailing adventures. I swear, my grandpa is more active than most teenagers I know! These days, Grandpa spends a lot of his time volunteering at the local VA hospital, helping out other military veterans in need. He also started his own little vegetable garden and brings fresh produce to the neighborhood food bank every week during the summer. Grandpa always says we have to "give back" and think about others less fortunate. He truly lives by that belief.Honestly, I could go on and on about all the incredible things my grandpa has done in his 75 years on this planet. Battling in a war as a young man. Shaping young lives as an educator for decades. Exploring the world through sailing expeditions. Giving back to the community in his retirement years. This dude seriously lived about five lifetimes worth of amazing experiences all rolled into one!More than anything though, what I admire most about my grandpa is his positive attitude and lust for life. No matter what challenges or hardships came his way, he always tackled them head-on with a smile and appreciated every single day as a gift. Whenever I'm having a rough time, I think about Grandpa's resilience and determination and it inspires me to keep pushing forward too.I hope when I'm an elderly dude someday, I can be even half as energetic, accomplished and caring as my grandpa. He's definitely the coolest old guy I know, hands down. Reading through this essay, I'm sure you can see what an extraordinary person he is! Grandpas are pretty awesome.篇3My Awesome Big BrotherMy big brother Jake is the coolest! He's 18 years old and just graduated from high school. I'm only 10 but Jake always includes me and treats me like his best friend. I look up to him so much.Jake is really good at sports, especially basketball. He was the captain of the varsity team at our high school. At 6'3" he towers over me and can dunk the ball easily. I try to copy his moves when we play basketball together in our driveway, but I'm not nearly as talented. Maybe someday!Jake is also really smart. He got straight A's all through high school and was in the top 10 of his graduating class. He's going to a great college next year to study engineering. Sometimes he helps me with my math homework when I get stuck. I don't know how he understands all that algebra and geometry so well! But my favorite thing about Jake is how kind he is. He volunteers at the local Boys & Girls Club a few times a week, helping kids like me with homework and playing sports and games. The little kids there all love him. He's really patient and makes everything fun.Jake is also super funny and the life of the party. He always makes our family laugh with his jokes and impressions. His friends say he should be a comedian when he grows up. I can see it - he definitely has the personality for it.I know I'm being biased because he's my brother, but I really do think Jake is one of the nicest, most well-rounded guys around. He's athletic, smart, caring, hard-working, and has a great sense of humor. Our parents must be so proud of how he turned out.I just hope when I'm in high school I can be half as cool as Jake. He's set the bar Pretty high! I want to get good grades like him, be a star athlete, and be a kind, fun person that everyone likes. Jake is the total package. One of my favorite memories is when Jake spent hours teaching me how to shoot a basketball properly. We were outside on the driveway and he kept adjusting my stance, showed me how to use my wrist to get spin on the ball, and had me take shot after shot until I started making them regularly. I was so excited when I finally got it down!Another time, Jake helped me build a model rocket for a school project. He's so good with his hands from all the tinkering he's done over the years. We worked together for a whole weekend gluing the model together, adding the engine, and decorating it to look awesome. When it finally launched, it flew so high up into the sky! We jumped around celebrating like crazy. It was such a fun experience that I'll never forget.Sometimes when Jake is home from college, he'll come into my room and we'll just hang out talking for hours. He helps me with girl advice and gives me a heads up on what to expect in middle school and high school. I feel so lucky to have an awesome big brother to guide me and be a role model as I get older.I'll always cherish the bond Jake and I have. He's leaving for college soon but I know he'll make time to stay involved in my life no matter how busy he gets. When I have kids someday, I'll make sure they know how amazing their uncle is.Jake is just an all-around phenomenal human being. He works hard, plays hard, and makes the most of every situation. He's inspired me to dream big and give 100% to pursue my passions just like he has. I have no doubt Jake is going to be hugely successful in whatever career he chooses.I've learned so many invaluable lessons just from watching Jake's character over the years. He's taught me the importance of kindness, dedication, a positive mindset, and being a great friend.I hope I can make him proud as I go through my teenage years ahead. To sum it up, my big brother Jake is simply the best. He's a star athlete, a bright student, a caring individual, and someonewho lights up any room with his infectious energy. Jake has set an awesome example for me, and I'll be forever grateful to have such an incredible role model in my life. He's my hero!篇4My Awesome Big BrotherYou know how most people think their big brother is super annoying and gets on their nerves all the time? Well, that's definitely not the case with my big bro, Jake. He's the coolest, funniest, and most awesome person I know! I'm going to tell you all about why Jake is such an amazing big brother.First off, Jake is really smart and good at school, but he never makes me feel dumb or anything. He's always happy to help me with my homework, especially math because that's my worst subject. Last year when I was having trouble with algebra, he spent hours going over equations and examples with me until I finally got it. He's really patient too and doesn't get frustrated if I ask a million questions. Jake just explains things in a way that makes total sense. Not only is he a great tutor, but Jake is also an incredible athlete. He's the star player on our high school's basketball team and has led them to the state championships two years in a row!Watching him play is so exciting. The way he dribbles and shoots is like magic. I've learned so many basketball skills from him that I'm actually a starter on my middle school team now. Jake never gets a big head about being so good though. He's really humble and is always encouraging me and my teammates. What really makes Jake stand out as the best big brother is how funny and cool he is. He's constantly cracking jokes and doing hilarious impersonations of our parents, teachers, or characters from movies and TV shows. Whenever I'm having a bad day, he can always cheer me up and make me laugh. Jake is super cool too and has great taste in music, movies, video games, you name it. Sometimes I think my interests are lame compared to his, but he never makes me feel that way. Instead, he'll enthusiastically listen to me ramble about the latest book series I'm obsessed with and even reads some of the books himself so we can discuss them. Not only is Jake an amazing brother at home, but he's also incredibly kind and caring at school. You know how most popular kids can be mean and stuck-up? Well, Jake is the total opposite. He's nice to everyone, even the kids that other people make fun of for being different or unpopular. One time I saw this guy getting bullied for being gay, and Jake stepped right in andstuck up for him. He told the bullies that their behavior was unacceptable and that they should be ashamed of themselves. The bullies backed off immediately because Jake is so respected. He's definitely someone who leads by example when it comes to being a good person.Jake volunteers a lot too, which is really admirable. Every week, he spends time at the local Boys and Girls Club working with underprivileged kids. He helps them with homework, plays sports and games with them, and just provides a positive role model. In the summers, he goes on service trips to build houses and schools in poor countries. He says seeing how little some people have makes him really appreciate what we have and motivates him to help others. Jake is also involved in our school's environmental club because he cares so much about taking care of our planet. You can probably tell by now that I absolutely adore and look up to my big brother. He's just an all-around fantastic person - smart, athletic, funny, kind-hearted, and generous. Jake is definitely setting an awesome example for me to follow. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing role model and friend in my life. We're at such different stages since he's about to graduate high school and I'm just starting middle school. But no matter wherelife takes us, I know Jake will always be someone I can count on and look to for guidance and support. He's honestly the best big brother in the entire world!篇5My Awesome Big BrotherHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my amazing big brother Jack. He's the coolest person I know!Jack is 18 years old and just graduated from high school. He's really tall, like 6 feet, with short brown hair and green eyes. Even though he's a teenager, he never makes fun of me for being a kid. We have so much fun together! My brother is the smartest person ever. He gets super good grades and was at the top of his class. Math and science are his best subjects - he can do crazy hard equations in his head! Jack taught me lots of cool facts about space, dinosaurs, and how things work. I used to think school was boring but he makes learning seem exciting.Jack also loves reading and always has a book with him. His favorite stories are epic fantasy adventures with heroes, magic, and dragons. Sometimes he reads them out loud using funny voices for each character which cracks me up. I can't get enough of his dramatic tale-telling!Even though he's so brainy, my brother is an amazing athlete too. He was the star player on his high school's basketball and soccer teams. Jack practices every day and has won tons of trophies and medals from competitions. Watching his games is the best - he's so fast and talented that he scores all the time. I dream of being as athletic as him when I'm older. But Jack's most impressive skill is definitely his artistic ability. He's an incredible artist! Whether it's drawing, painting, sculpting, you name it - he can create beautiful masterpieces. Jack is always doodling or working on his latest project. His bedroom is a colorful explosion of his artwork covering the walls. I'm in awe of his creativity and imagination.Jack says he wants to be an illustrator for books or video games after college. He's applied to tons of great art schools and I know he'll get accepted everywhere. I can totally picture his illustrations bringing storybook characters to life so vividly. He's going to be famous one day, I just know it!Not only is my brother talented, but he's one of the nicest, most caring people too. Jack is incredibly kind and patient, especially with little kids like me and my friends. He always takes the time to listen, give advice, and lend a helping hand however he can. It doesn't matter how busy he is with his own stuff, Jack makes us his top priority. He's also hilarious and the biggest jokester ever! Jack's impressions and pranks always have me doubled over laughing. Even when I accidentally spill my juice or break something, instead of getting mad he finds a way to make light of it. My brother knows how to make any situation fun rather than stressful. He's the master of cheering people up and being positive no matter what.Jack is seriously the world's best big brother. More than just my sibling, he's like a superhero, role model, and friend all wrapped into one. Whenever I'm struggling with anything, he's the first person I turn to for guidance and emotional support. Jack has helped me through so much and pushes me to be the best version of myself each day.I'm so lucky and grateful to have an incredible big brother like Jack in my life. Not only does he inspire me with his endless talents and accomplishments, but he makes me want to be a kind-hearted, hard-working person too. I look up to him morethan anyone else. If I can be even half as amazing as Jack when I'm older, I'll consider myself successful. Thanks for listening, everyone! I could honestly go on forever about how wonderful my big bro is. Hopefully you can see why Jack is the most awesome person I know. He's myreal-life superhero and I'm his biggest fan!篇6My Awesome Big BrotherMy big brother John is the coolest guy ever! He's 17 years old and a senior at our high school. I look up to him so much and want to be just like him when I'm older.John is really tall, like 6 feet, with shaggy brown hair and bright blue eyes. He's super athletic and plays on the varsity basketball and soccer teams. All the girls at school have a huge crush on him because he's not just a jock, he's also wicked smart. John gets straight A's without even trying that hard. I don't know how he does it!But what I admire most about my brother is how kind and caring he is. John is always looking out for me and protecting me from bullies. Once when I was getting picked on at theplayground, he came over and yelled at those mean kids until they left me alone. I felt so safe with him by my side.John also helps out a lot around the house without our parents even asking. He does the dishes, takes out the trash, and even mows the lawn sometimes. My friends are always saying how lucky I am to have such an awesome big bro. And they're totally right! When he's not busy with school, sports, or chores, John loves playing video games. We'll spend hours battling it out on the Xbox, even though he usually wins. He's a master at first-person shooter games like Call of Duty. I keep practicing so maybe one day I can finally beat him!Every year for my birthday, John gets me the coolest presents. Last year he got me a sweet remote control car that can drive on the ceiling! And for Christmas he surprised me with the latest Samsung virtual reality headset. Tech toys are always a safe bet when it comes to gift ideas for me.My brother is also hilarious and makes me laugh all the time. He's got this crazy good impersonation of our weird next door neighbor Mr. Jenkins. John will put on a scraggly fake beard, hunched posture, and gravelly voice, shouting "You darn kids get off my lawn!" It cracks me up every time.I could go on forever about why John is the best big brother, but I'll wrap it up. Maybe he's not perfect - his room is a huge pigsty and he occasionally forgets to do his chores. But nobody's flawless, right? Overall, John is an amazing role model and I'm so lucky to have him in my life. I just hope when I'm a teenager I'll be as cool, smart, athletic, and all-around awesome as my incredible big bro!。

Besides, the country is also famous for some of its heroic sons. Abraham Lincoln is one of them. I am really glad that I got the opportunity to talk about him for the next few minutes.I knew about Lincoln from the history class when I was in high school . Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the USA. During his reign, the situations were unusual. The country went under some serious critical moments and the Civil War was one of them. Besides, there were some political and constitutional crises as well. But Lincoln controlled the situations in an efficient manner. It is Abraham Lincoln who abolished the slavery. Before the abolition of this system, racism was at its peak. Lincoln also did some other notable activities. He is the man who also made the federal government system stronger. The modern economy actually started its journey with the association of this President. In fact, many of the facilities we are enjoying today are the gift of this smart man.Yes, I like him much. He is a historical figure in the history ofthe USA. He served the country as a great guardian and wanted to improve the existing norms and rules.
