航运业常用英文术语航运业常用英文术语1、租船方式TC/VC/TCT船舶租进租出是航运业经常进行的业务。
租船方式有三种：TC （Time Charter）期租；VC（V oyage charter）程租；TCT（Time charter Trip）航次期租。
TC与TCT按时间计算租金，燃油费租家支付。
VC是一个航次多少租金，航次时间有约定，超过约定时间货还没卸完，超过的时间租家要加付租金，燃油费由出租方负担。
2、MT=metric ton 吨（1000公斤）3、COA（Contract of Affreightment）合同包运合同，即海上运输总合同，可分船运输，长期的基本在已定的两个港口之间多次往返航线。
4、VLCC（V ery Large Crude Carrier）VLCC是超大型油轮“V ery Large Crude Carrier”的英文缩写,用中国话说就是：超级油轮.载重量一般为20至30万吨,相当于200万桶原油的装运量。
全世界有400多条.30万吨超大型油船船体总长333.5米，相当于35辆5吨“解放”牌卡车首尾相接的长度，而站在一栋每层高为2.6米的21层楼，你才能够得着30万吨驾驶室上方雷达桅的底端。
30万吨的总涂装部位面积也达到前所未有的98.4万平方米，相当于170个足球场那样大.“能造VLCC，就能造航空母舰”是世界造船业公认的一种说法。
能不能建造30万吨超大型油轮也早已成为衡量一个造船厂，乃至一个国家造船能力的标尺。
世界上第一艘单壳体VLCC自1966年在日本问世以来，进入20世纪90年代已发展到第三代双壳体VLCC，VLCC超大型油轮的设计与建造又几乎全部被日本、韩国所垄断，他们的一些骨干船厂均具有建造过60—70艘VLCC的耀人业绩。
大连新船重工责任有限公司建造成功我国第一条VLCC.上海外高桥造船公司为新加坡海洋油船有限公司建造的绿色环保型31.8万载重吨VLCC“华山”号为世界第一大油轮。
