单元教学建议：
本单元的话题是中国的传统节日。
教师可结合五上Christmas引入，课前可要求学生搜集一些关于中国的传统节日的信息，包括日期、食物和风俗习惯等，为课堂教学做准备。
本单元的词汇除了节日名词和食物之外，还包括十二个月份，教师可帮助学生复习季节类和星期类的词汇。
为了方便教学和操练，师生可准备日历本。
本单元的句型有两个，都是一般现在时态，一个是用来表达节日的日期，一个是用来描述人们在不同节日里的常见活动和庆祝方式。
教学目标：
1.能听懂、会说、会读单词spring festival, mid-autumn festival, dragon boat festival, the
double ninth festival, rice cake, dumpling等。
2.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词January, February, May, June, September, October等。
3.能听懂、会说、会读、会写句型The spring festival is in January or February. People eat
dumplings at this festival.
4.能知道字母th在单词中的读音。

一颗颗的苹果落下的同时，说出苹果上的单词。

老师出示六一节的图片，图片上有不少人物等信息，教师提出问题:Who are they? What can you find?然后让学生观察图片后思考然后回答是谁，学生回答是小朋友们。教师引导学生继续说说发现了什么？发现了六一，从而引出儿童节是Children’s Day。
这节课的教学任务目标是能理解并会朗读故事；能听懂、会说、会拼读单词和短语：balloons, drinks, fruit，snacks，toys，clown, appear, put on, begin, Children’s Day。
本课为新授课，通过反复播放录音视频并跟读模仿学习词汇和朗读课文；通过灵活多样，丰富多彩的课堂形式的进行，熟悉故事，进而可以复述故事，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，增强他们的自信心，通过教学评价的开展，让学生体验到成就感，促进学生学习和发展。
