本课为《英语》小学（供三年级起始用）第四册Module3 Unit 1 Robots will do everything.本模块的教学内容是谈论将来可能发生的事情和一周七天的计划。
第一单元的课文情境是Daming 和Sam 之间关于机器人的对话。
Sam 在操场上看到Daming 带来一个东西，于是好奇地询问是什么。
Daming 告诉Sam 这是机器人，它会行走，还会说话。
Daming 向Sam 介绍未来机器人还会做各种事情，如打扫房间，辅导孩子学习等等。
Sam 以为机器人能帮自己做作业，但实际上它们不会。
二、说学生。
本课的教学对象是四年级学生。
他们对英语的学习已有一定的基础，因此，在新语言点的学习过程中，教师要尽可能多地创造较好的语言环境，给学生充足的语言“习得机会”，让学生大胆实践，积极参与，形成积极的情感态度和自主学习的能力。
