大多数情况下是那种可以把一些文字定义为文学的语境使读者把这些文字看作文学的.我们可以把文学作品理解成为某种属性或者某种特点的语言.我们也可以把文学看作程式的创造,或者某种关注的结果.哪一种视角也无法成功地把另一种全部包含进去.所以必须在二者之间不断地变换自己的位置.不同理论下文学的本质:1.文学是语言的“突出”.(语言形式)文学是一种把语言本身置于“突出地位”的语言.2.文学是语言的综合.(语言结构)文学是把文本中各种要素和成分都组合在一种错综复杂的关系中的语言.3.文学是虚构.(表现对象)文学的虚构性使其语言区别于其他语境中的语言,并且使作品与真实世界的关系成为一个留待解读的问题。
4.文学是美学对象.(表达方式)5.文学是互文性的或者叫自反性的建构.(表达内容)作品是由其他作品塑造出来的,也就是说先前的作品使它们的存在成为可能,它们重复先前的作品,对它们进行质疑或改造。
