近日，“上清华变白富美”成为网上的热门话题，一些清华女生晒出自己刚入学和将毕业的对比照片，网友评价称“上完大学，变成‘女神’了。”清华大学招生办官方微博也转发推广了这次晒照片活动，在高考录取季即将到来之际，此举被网友质疑是借晒照片大做“招生广告”。对此，清华大学招生办回应称，“上清华变白富美”成为一个热议话题已远远超出本意，恶意揣测更是不必。
网上曾经有过多个版本的“清华女生”段子，诸如“清华女生一回头，宿舍男生齐跳楼”，“清华女生一回头，吓死田边一头牛”，“清华女生一回头，吓倒一排教学楼”，等等，言下之意就是，清华的女同学读书固然了得，但却不怎么懂得打扮，更与“美女”不搭界。
网上这些恶搞的段子，其实只是片面放大了一部分人心目中那种“才女即丑女”的偏见，进而把清华园里的学霸、才女，统统都打成了“恐龙”。这样一种成见，其实对清华女生并不公平，恐怕也不怎么符合事实。在这个意义上，“上清华变白富美”，恰恰是对这种社会成见和偏见的一种挑战，具有正面的、积极的意义。
“白富美”、“高富帅”等，都是新近出现的网络词汇。“高富帅”的命名一般认为是由日本动漫“高达”演变而来。身高1米85，体重145斤，长相帅气，家庭生活条件殷实，某名校毕业等等人物特征，引来不少人的“羡慕嫉妒恨”，从而拉开了“高富帅”的神话。与此相对应，“白富美”是指年轻女性皮肤好、家境良好、相貌出众，身材好，气质佳等等。江苏海安高中校园里的一块广告牌，更是赋予“高富帅”和“白富美”全新的定义：高富帅就是高于眼界、富于实践、帅在素养；白富美即是白于品性、富于思维、美在心灵。
应该说，这样的“高富帅”、这样的“白富美”，在当下中国，既是社会多元化的一种体现，也反映出年轻人追求美好、崇尚富贵、勇于表现自我的新风尚，是“爱美之心人皆有之”的现实写照。《中国青年报》社会调查中心曾经通过爱调研和民意中国网，对2315人进行了一项抽样调查，调查显示，81.2%的人感觉时下很多年轻人择偶时青睐“高富帅”、“白富美”。

爷爷吸毒，哥哥色盲却想当飞行员，妈妈戒不了烟，舅舅失恋失业并自杀未遂，爸爸事业失败，小胖妹不美但还去选美。
但这些失败者很有意思：父亲意志坚定，失败了；妈妈清醒理智，失败了；哥哥愤世嫉俗，失败了；爷爷笑骂人生，也失败了……但我还是认为，影片的主人公Olive是真正的阳光小美女，虽然她没有赢得选美比赛。
虽然她长的矮胖，挺着一个鼓鼓的小肚子，还带着一个大眼镜，但她梦想着自己能够在选美活动中获得冠军，她一登场就给人一种清新的感觉，影片围绕着她层层展开，她在整个家庭中调和着紧张的气氛。

时隔3年，我仍旧能够清晰的记起Vivian准备申请美国留学时的稚嫩模样。回
想起她当年凭借25分的托福成绩申请到美国Top70大学的经历，她羞赧的一笑，说

Vivian是2008年的夏季开始准备出国的，当时她正就读于江苏省的一所私立

会议室里慵懒的伸展着腰肢，暖洋洋的照在我和Vivian身上。她告诉我她最想学习

梦想往往比现实要美好的多，但实现的梦想的过程却常常伴随着诸多不易。就
在Vivian下定决心出国后的第二个月，第一次托福考试的成绩就给她刚刚起航的梦
想一记沉重的打击。这一次23分的成绩是她跟我都始料未及的。好在Vivian并没
有因此而丧失斗志，反而迅速的报名了两次托福考试。在这期间，我和Vivian像所
有准备出国留学的学子们一样，准备简历、推荐信，规划着选校、背景提升的等细
节。像虔诚的信徒的一般，播种着希望的种子。
第三次托福考试结束的2个多星期后，适夜，我被一阵急促的电话铃声吵醒。
模糊的按下通话键，耳边就传来Vivian带着哭腔的声音。毫无疑问，她又考砸了。
半年内连续三次考试失败的经历，三次平均25分的托福成绩让她本人和我都感到了
莫大的压力，也使这个原本开朗乐观的女孩子对自己的未来心灰意冷，甚至开始怀
疑自己根本不具备出国留学的能力。坦白的讲，在从事留学申请行业以后，像Vivian
这样在语言关上遇到障碍的学生并不少见，然而，悲剧如她的却十分鲜有。于是，
才有了我和Vivian的第二次长谈。
相同的午后，相同的会客室，连慵懒的阳光都仿佛不曾改变，不同的是Vivian
仿佛渐行渐远的梦想和憔悴的表情。而我们此次长谈的目的正是希望寻找到新的突
破口，让希望的泉眼再一次眷顾Vivian那干涸梦想。在对整个留学过程进行抽丝剥
茧的分析后，我发现Vivian本身的性格和观点是一个很值得深入挖掘的内容。她性
格乐观开朗，多才多艺，虽然仅仅是一个十几岁的女孩，但却对时下很多敏感问题
有着独到的看法，这是其他同龄人所不具有的。如果将这一点浓墨重彩的表现出来，
就会使Vivian的个性更加鲜明。于此同时，Vivian用心收集了自己最得意的设计
作品整理成册，作为一项能够体现她专业背景的重要内容呈现给学校，充分表现自
身的闪光点。
事实证明，我们的判断的是正确的。重新出发的Vivian迅速获得了学校的垂青，
虽然她的语言能力仍是一个不小的障碍，但几个学校都表示可以授予Vivian有条件
录取，即Vivian先入学读3-6个月的语言，在学校通过托福考试后，就可以进入设
计专业学习。
2009年的8月，Vivian终于如愿的踏上的前往美国的飞机。4个月后，我收到
Vivian的Email。彼时，她已经充分适应了美国的生活和学习，在优越的语言环境
影响下，她顺利的通过了托福考试，开始进入服装设计专业学习，并在学校的
project runway fashion show当中以卓越的表现胜出，是学校里唯一的一个获此
殊荣的中国学生。
今年，已经是Vivian在美国的第三个年头。长时间的美国学习生活已经让这个
曾经稚嫩和天真的小女孩变得成熟而稳重。正如她最初设想的那样，正在一步步的
接近自己的梦想。每每谈及三年前那段申请的经历，她总会略带感叹的说，如果当
初因为托福的关系放弃了留学这条道路，或许就不会有梦想照进现实的一天。
然而，在这里，我想要指出的是，成绩并非是决定留学成功与否的唯一要素，
虽然它在形式上堪称衡量一个人学术水平的标准，但正如大多数对留学申请深信不
疑的客户所说的那样，他们向往的并非只是国外学校卓越的教学水平和的教学环境，
更重要的一点是国外学校先进的教学体制。简言之就是，国外教学体制的先进之处
就在于学校并非单纯的以考试成绩的高低来评定一个申请人是否具有入学的资格，
而是在充分考量学生各方面的综合素质之后才最终做出决定。条条道路通罗马，总
有一条适合你。希望所有像Vivian一样拥有留学梦想的莘莘学子们，都能够跨越留
学道路上种种障碍，找到适合自己的方式，像远在大洋彼岸的Vivian一样，让梦想
照进现实，实现自身的华丽变身。
